These all use the fuselage to be the negative conductor as do the rest of these AC. Soldering a wire to the negative terminal in the fuselage is a sure fire way to get these to work.

You know what...considering the age of the kit and the quality you did a pretty good job there...i thought the vehicle was white in the show but it looks good in silver. An enjoyable watch. Thanks 👍❤️

I have an original one of these from my childhood. The motor still works and I use a Duracell MN21 12 volt battery. This makes the propeller spin really fast like it used to when it was new. It is slightly shorter than the original battery (it's 27mm long) but bending the negative pole in slightly has worked.

I have same model, it's fantastic. Even acoustic recordings sound great in that machine.

Lovely restoration. Seems with all Dinky/Corgi cars, the front wheels are too far in the wheelarches, giving the impression of a narrow front track. I put small spacers on the inside, bringing the wheels nearer to the side bodywork and a more realistic look from the side. Just a thought.

Reconozco que cuando vi la combinación de colores, tuve mis dudas. Pero quedó fina y elegante, a tono con el modelo a escala. Muy lindo auto y muy buenos detalles. ¡Gracias por compartirlo!

multi axle steering, the degree of lock reduces with axle centres; as the wheel base decreases. See Alvis Stalwart and Tyrell P4. - Having second of wheels set not touching the ground would seem to be a cheat! Mole grips perfect M/c toolkit accessory; for gripping geatshift splines when using as a makeshift gearchange lever to get you home!

Realmente: un trabajo muy prolijo y respetuoso de restauración y renovación de un muy buen modelo a escala, con varios detalles muy interesantes. Felicitaciones por el resultado.

GORGEOUS! BRILLIANT! I'll hopefully be restoring a Rambler for my cousin as a gift for her Christmas village. My Aunt Dot (short for Dorothy) could pack eight kids in the Nash, in the '60's. Thank you for reminding me of good times.

Yes, I'm here 3 years later, with a gorgeous BF109E without a motor! I love your videos; your voice is soothing and so detailed in delivery. I cannot find any Sea Kings in the US, so I was wondering if @Diecast Rescue has found a source for a replacement motor. If not, I'll try getting an ultra low RPM motor to show off the propeller motion in my diorama scene. Cheers!

Interestingly (or not depending on personal taste) In the serialised original version it was a Dustcart that was used which came from a museum. In the movie, the heroes inexplicably find a 190 year old Morris J van in a warehouse/garage on the outskirts of London in working order ! 🤨 Not to mention everyone wearing 60's clothing that is inexplicably well preserved 190 years later 😆
