From model to poster speed edit in Photoshop using model aircraft.

This video shows poster artwork being developed in Adobe Photoshop from photographs of a model jet fighter. The screen recording software kept crashing when I came out of Photoshop to use Topaz Impression but that should be obvious from the changes in the images. I am aiming for that classic model kit box art look.
This video features music from the KZbin audio library so you wont have to listen to me drone on :)

Interesting stuff. I had a somewhat dodgy copy of photoshop which I managed to lose. I've used a couple of free editing suites for many years, faststone and irfanview which, along with my Cannon software, has done pretty well. I always thought photoshop was a bit over-complicated. I would certainly be interested in a more in-depth version of this, more of a how-to. You certainly get nice results with it.👍 Cheers for now, Dougie.

Excellent. I'd like a t-shirt with that design on it. Enjoyed the music, too - you just can't beat a bit of brutal electronica. Made me think of sound experiments by the Hafler Trio, Holger Hiller, some early D.A.F. (R.I.P. Gabi Delgado Lopez), or Cabaret Voltaire's soundtrack for 'Johnny Yesno'. It's also the sort of music that would be on an Eastern Bloc animation of the early 1970's, so it fits the visuals perfectly. When suspending a model with strings/wires, why not do what Brian Johnson used to do on Space: 1999? He used to hang models in flight, upside down - that's why it's almost impossible to see strings - when filmed inverted, the strings are underneath the model. Whatever, it's a great poster. Nice one.
