idk if its too late for this comment since its out for a year or so alrdy😂 At the start of the dance “tree” hands u referred to are actually symbolising a lotus throne or 蓮花座 in Chinese, which is a throne where another character named 如來佛祖(Tathagata Buddha) had gave wukong after he had succeeded in taking 西經(a Buddha rune book) and became a buddha, which is i guess symbolized as success here. at mingyu and jeonghan’s part, where members appear suddenly behind mingyu and jeonghan, it is a imitation of one of wukong’s famous abilities, 分身術(cloning). this cloning feature also appeared in the ending At scoups’ part, the part he was held and kinda tossed(???) by the background dancers, its an imitation of the flying cloud (觔斗雲) wukong used all the time At Joshua’s part, the reference of his move u mentioned was from the ruyijingu bang (如意金箍棒), sunwukong’s magical staff (or weapon), which was extendable, and Joshua was doing the move of extending(expanding) the jingu bang which wukong does when he summons the staff. (Wukong usually hides it in his ear, so most scenes in the journey to the west only extending moments are mentioned) And yes, the8 was suffering from a collarbone injury that time

I am by no means a professional dancer, in fact im pretty bad but i have been dancing for 10 years recreationally and i love seeing good choreo. I may not be able to do it myself but i can see good dance and understand what makes a dance good and it makes me happy when you can see it outside of professional dance spaces. This one is definitely one of my favorite kpop choreographies ever, very few kpop groups use the flowy lines of reaching slowly for something even though outside kpop its very common. So the unusuality, the execution, storytelling, and the expressiveness of ateez solidified this as the song i recommend to dancers

just some little corrections (sorry I’m late) - jay was born in the states and moved to Korea when he was a teen, meanwhile jake was actually born in korea and moved to australia when he was 8. jungwon is the second youngest. also some fun facts in case you didn’t know :) - niki has two sisters. konon is the name of his older sister and she actually has a KZbin channel and posts a lot of dance covers, she’s a really good dance too so you should search her! misola is the name of niki’s younger sister, but there’s not much info about her. - niki also choreographs most of enhypen’s choreo, and even made the ‘bite me’ choreo in a hotel room after their concert - heeseung, jay, and jake speak really good english and jake said that recently niki has been improving too - the three most popular mini units of enhypen is “pocketz”(sunoo and jungwon), 02z (jay, jake, sunghoon), and ramyeonz (heeseung and jake) - enhypen and txt are also really close now, so you should def check their dance challenges and interactions with each other! - enhypen has a webtoon name “dark moon” and the songs ‘criminal love’ and ‘one in a billion’ is from that webtoon. they have their own characters representing them as well. in general, enhypen keeps improving ever comeback and they are a really talented and attractive group! hope that helps :))

Seulgi has been my bias ever since Redvelvet Debut, I like how she can be bubbly and yet also have mysterious, dark, elegant vibes as well she is a darkness queen. 28 reasons is amazing I also love her song from the same album called DEAD MAN RUNNIN I feel like that song is a continuation of 28 reasons like an after story of what happened after 28 reasons ended. I like that she composed the songs of this solo debut album.
