The main choreographer for this was indeed Choi Youngjun but he was assisted by 3 other choreographers as well. This was a really big collaborative effort and Pledis even got all of its performance directors on the project (Seventeen's performance director is Yoon Hyelim, but Pledis brought in ex-Nuest's and Pristin's performance directors for this too). They probably felt like they needed all hands on deck for a performance of this level

Seems like no one said this yet, so here I am. There are 240 back up dancers in the MV. With Seventeen there are +250 dancers. Also, that was an abandoned building, they filmed this at night. Loved your video! I was waiting for this reaction

The cut before Scoups part was probably because they did multiple takes because they want the timing for his jump to look good. During their music show performances they had to redo his part a few times until it’s satisfactory

Just some of my personal interpretations of the choreo: 1. The starting position is Woozi on a lotus, since Sun Wukong became a Buddha at the end of the story, and a lot of his depiction is him sitting on a lotus throne 2. At 15:19, love that you caught the jumping ☺ 3. The ripple they did at the very end, where the backup dancers are stepping out from behind, might represent one of Sun wukong's super powers. He could multiply himself by blowing life into the hair that he pulls out from the back of his head.

The line " I love my team,I love crew" they really mean it. They brought as much as they can all the dancers, choreographers, producers, directors who have worked with them in the past together in this song...as their CREW T.T it was so meaningful

before this comeback dropped, coups spent WEEKS complaining on weverse about how difficult the choreo for super is and after seeing how much he gets thrown around and how often he has to land such an impossible jump, i can only say i'd be complaining too lol. we're proud of our reliable leader for pulling it off so well!

Holy moly . I'm at the power pole line and just love how much wein it for SVT & DBZ references. Like SONGONG is everything. Also just to point out , the shooting star scene was how SONWUKONG looked like flying in the sky , svt big ass anime fan so no surprise. Their big fan of dragon ball z ❤🎉

Yes the choreographer is Choi YeongJun Yes The8 is injured ( he hurt his collarbone , but now he’s better ) And also yes Hoshi is the one who screamed LETS GO ( and most likely Vernon too since Hoshi and Vernon are the ones who screams let’s go in the performances )

idk if u know but the reason why minghao only joins the performance for the 2nd chorus and the outro is because he broke his collarbone around the time they were preparing for this comeback and couldn't dance much. that's why he does the 1 arm variation of the choreo for the second chorus. he's okay now though 🥰

Minghao/The8 only had a small bit in this M/V because he hurt his Collarbone when he was working out And around 200 backup dancing in the background Can you also put the Seventeen reaction videos you do in a separate playlist, so I can find them better You should watch Youth Periplous, it's a Variety Show with Minghao/The8 in it

the8 had a collarbone injury which is why he did a 1 arm variation. they actually modified the choreo and that part of the song just so the8 could still participate. not sure if theyll change it back once he gets fully healed though i think they will make the8 do a dance break solo on award shows to make up for it XD

the choreographers did a GREAT job but i always think thats also because the material is seventeen. the choreographer could unleashed their creativities bc it's seventeen they worked with, they knew seventeen have the talent, work ethic, and passion to handle all of it

Thank you so much for taking the time to appreciate Seungkwan's feature and execution, because having him really in the front of this huge group is pretty incredible and epic, and everyone killing. I also missed Vernon hitting his hat on the first watch through so when I did see it myself I was really impressed at the way he handled it, and he picked up the hat at the perfect time. Even though I don't KNOW it's Hoshi, I'm sure it's Hoshi because he does this regularly! haha :) Seventeen really NEVER disappoints and is always satisfying to watch and how they continue to move forward with their choreo that gives still the feeling of it being a very "SEVENTEEN" choreography, but still incorporating some movement that is more current to trends without being "trendy" if that makes any sense. They're growing and developing, but still connected to their core feeling. Seventeen has said it's more intense for them than Hit. I heard that at Music Show Pre-recording they were hands on knees between takes, idk, I know the members are getting older but none of them are 30 yet so I'll still take their word for it that it is really the most intense choreo and not blame it on their aging yet hahaha. Considering they have major lifts in the choreo, s.coups with that intense toss in the air and Woozi at the end especially, I can see why they would say this - not to mention how much it keeps driving throughout the song. The anti-drop gives smoother movement but they're still going and it picks up at the second half of that, and it just really translates the lyrics of never going to stop or give up, etc.

YES. I've been literally checking back nearly everyday for your reaction. My Boy Resident Weeb Super Producer Woozi did NOT disappoint!!! The one reference you caught but didn't name was the power pole that extends. ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS is at the end with Woozi and he says PING and just drops to the ground is highly reminiscent of DBZ scenes where someone comes out of nowhere at high speed and drops in to handle business. One of the best scenes of this is when Goku arrives to stop Frieza. I really love Coups's hero landing as well as it really looks like he's flying on a cloud. Jun at the part just before Woozi when they all move together looks like one giant cloud. Super itself is just a reference for going Super Saiyan as they gather their energy to win the fight. My favorite comeback. They had no reason to go this hard.
