Dmg meters are skewed because when he's in the void, the addon doesnt register damage from other sources

@@Kemyo0 I can guarantee you that if you’re phased into a different phase, both Skada and details will not register your friendly player’s direct dmg (dots will continue to register for the remaining duration as you phased but reapplication won’t).

@@spartanslaxwax Details syncs with other members of the raid. And your statement is obviously false if you just look at his details window when he's down at around 3:25. Everybody else is cranking damage that must be coming from more than just dots.

@@spartanslaxwax You can't guarantee anything because after this, their Warcraft logs showed him at the top which syncs everyone's damage meters (while also syncing in-game anyway). Goes to show you don't know what you're talking about.

Fire still has good cleave burst through Phoenix Flames, it's just not a funnel style cleave unless you're just stacking a giant ignite then maintaining it with Phoenix flames 3x throughout combust.

i really like kyr arcane in m+ but i am unhappy with it in the raid, the bosses rarely give you time for the ramp, it's often risk it, either youre lucky or you get screwed, best example nerzhul, either you got knockbacked, or there are swirlies, or the black lasers, there is almost no room for a standing still ramp -.-

Hey guys. I haven't played in a couple years, just watching some videos cause I've got the itch to play. Mr Content Producer here says that multi-speccing isn't really a thing because of covenants. How true is this? You can't be totally optimal with one covenant in all three specs, but wouldn't the benefits of the specs themselves outweigh the suboptimal covenant? I really enjoy me some multi-speccing, and this is a concern. Can a heroic Andy multi-spec and not be totally useless? What is the throughput hit in terms of a percentage do you think?

All three specs are very reliant on covenant abilities to perform optimally. They are all atleast 10% better with their preferred covenant

For a mid-late tier aotc only guild you can play all 3 specs ok as Venthyr. But if you want to be optimal and actually have a chance at parsing all 3 specs have a different covenant that helps them best. And after the first swap there is essentially a 2 weekly reset cooldown to swap back to a covenant. So you are largely stuck on 1 spec as a mage sadly

@@deseanroot75 I think another issue is that I was just seeing covenants as their main abilities. I'm now looking into soulbinds and conduits. It's a lot to understand without actually playing it. But I'm gonna take you guys' word for it and see proper multi-speccing as off limits, at least short term.

@@FallaciousAl You cant do that because covenants dont just have the main ability. Soulbinds- non conduit abilities matter just as much, if not more, than the signature ability.

Did you look at the recent Chinese fire mage logs on Sylvanas? He was doing like 7.5k dps in p3 and topping in p1 & p2.

That mage is also i245 and is getting many PI's. That doesn't mean fire isn't good. But context is important.
