If the valve lash is off will it cause it not to start because it’s in it getting spark and fuel but will won’t start not even with starter fluid

Yes, if valve also is off, it will not build the compression needed to start.

Yea when I first got into cars in highschool and changed my spark plugs I was confused and angry why I had a misfire I couldn’t figure out. Turns out the impact broke the porcelain off a few plugs and caused random misfires.

I believe you need to reset transfer case adaptions to clear that error.
