Cows account for a surprising amount of deaths and injuries in Britain annually. I don't think they even mean to hurt you really, but cows absolutely will fuck you up if they charge and you are stupid enough to be in their way.

I must have listened to hundreds of hours of Ricky, Steve and Karl. This moment at 15:05 ''She's the one that used to put a valance on everything, isn't it?'' and Karl replies ''Well, not on everything, obviously'' that moment is my favorite in the entire thing. I love how it has a long set up, story goes back to the origin story of aunt Nora with the ripped tennis ball. And it's a rare moment when Ricky is actually laughing at Karl's joke rather than Karl himself. Karl came up with that spontaneously and it was genuinely brilliant! ''Well, not on everything, obviously.''

I wish I could go back and see Karl's upbringing. The joy it would bring. Though, the horrors too.

Ricky: “We won’t say her name, but when Karl was a kid, he saw up her skirt and it looked like a split tennis ball.” Karl: “Well that could be any of me aunties…” Lmfao Karl is so damn funny.

What a kind remark! Thank you so much, Sarah. My mom was always hard of hearing so I had to enunciate from early on. God, I hope she never listens to this story, though 🙈🤭

Agreed with the assessment. Been said oodles of times, but so many fans, myself among them, are queer neurodivergents. All of the angels and demons, not just Crowley and Aziraphale, outside of being gender clueless/ambiguous, have so many ND traits so it only makes sense. Aziraphale feels so comfortable with Crowley in so many ways, despite the massive discomfort of feeling that they are "on opposite sides," but also, very autistically, Azi tends to have no idea what feelings he is feeling. Crowley really is a constant for Aziraphale and, as you said, with sensory issues and being prone to overwhelm, that constant anchor of security is something Azi could never function without. x

There’s a lot that doesn’t add up there to be honest. At best a lot that’s been exaggerated over time. I can’t believe that Karl’s dad wouldn’t have been sacked for that. I can’t believe the amount of money quoted or the amount of time that the station was apparently shut for while they fixed it. I also don’t believe that he’d have been off work and still getting paid, for several weeks, after being responsible for such a disaster. Is there any record of this at all?

Love it when karl insults steve cuz steve seems like one of them who thinks hes better cuz he went college and deserves the insults. I watched him in a stand up performance, some of his stuff was ok but he used alot of material what he says in these podcasts. So its not new material.

The brain of Karl Pilkington: I experienced some weird chills as a kid > ghosts exist > the afterlife exists > the afterlife is a real, physical place where people literally plow "Elysian fields" > since people are dying older, they will be too frail to do the croppin' in the afterlife What a twonk.
