Hi, i have a problem with my 2009 bmw x5 xdrive30 3.0 two times i change the plastic gears of the servomotor actuator of the transfer case, and like 1 year ago i got some water in the ECU (engine computer because of hole) so i replaced the ECU and i paid the programming and all again working but now my bmw doesnt run it runs very very slow and was the same reason of the plastic gears that i replaced months before but today was different i removed the servomotor actuator and the plastic gears look still brand new, but now i cannot drive my bmw like that so its already 1 year with my bmw in my house, so if i move the small front driveshaft with my hands will be very easy to move and if not will be 100% the transfer case to buy a used one from a junkyard, and i dont have any noise or smell in the bottom of differential adn when im trying to drive i feel like accelerating with Neutral gear its like very soft but moves only like some inches and if i go out to the street its difficult to get inside of my driveway again so going forward its very difficult and reverse (R) works better almost like normal i think, and i dont have transmission codes, i only have transfer case vtg supply error code and vtg oil wear error code, and i have the DSC, ABS, 4X4 errors on my dashboard and also i see "transmission malfunction" on dashboard or middle screen but indont have codes for transmission in my foxwell scanner i can get trans and engine normal and hard errors, do you have experience with this running very very slow with Drive gear ???

Great video man. Did you use a 6 Ton Jack stands underneath (more clearance) the car to take off the bolts on the transmission housing? Thinking about taking out the engine at home on the drive way as well.

How high was your front end in the air? I’m thinking about doing this as my rear main seal is shot.. did you do this with only Jack stands?

Awesome. I spent 2 hrs trying to remove that back bolt and there is sooo much oil from a leaking timing chain tensioner I can’t see crap and that back bolt on the block can’t be seen

i have replaced o2 sensors multiple times, catalytic converter AND fuel injectors. when the fuel injectors were replaced the check engine light went off for a full week, the longest it’s gone. but now it’s throwing the same codes. idk what to do

I've just bought a 645Ci, no engine issues so far it's been great, but all these videos I keep seeing do make me nervous, it's on 131k and been looked after so hopefully it's gonna be good. If it was an expensive car to buy I wouldn't have touched it but I got it for £4,000 which is a steal so worst ways that's the max I can lose, they all seem to be that cheap here in the UK just because of their reputation :/

Thanks for this, I was thinking I’d have to remove the bumper like I did on my E90 to get the headlights out and re-seal. I used Tiger Seal on the E90 and the lights never had condensation again. But I feared the agony of taking off the F10 bumper! I shall do this job on my F10 this summer, you’ve saved me a lot of time.

Did you seal it over the existing sealant? I would like to void taking the entire lens off. Too expensive part to ruin. Thanks informative video.

Did you test the upstream? I have only p0138, and the car is only getting around 10.5L/100km when it should get 7.5L/100. Could the upstream cause the mileage to be this bad?

So how I fixed my problem sorta: I took of how in this video for a bmw f10 the cap that goes on top of the headlight and look bro look in the fucking car it’s so easy but btw I drive without it now and my headlight is clear and working fine! I think only for winter I will drive with it of Becasue idk what’s wrong with it but at least my lights work and don’t look broke driving around with a watered up headlight and not working. Now the reason I said kinda is Becasue on my dash the headlight still says only this time “aim control malfunction” idk how to really get rid of that but atleats my high and low beams and angel eyes work so yeah and oh btw it took about 3 days with the caps of to fully clear the headlight so there you go
