I like rainy days. In fact it just rained here in MT on the Rez. The smell after is fantastic.

Most amenities are. This pool at Orange Blossom is a country club so there's a membership fee for that.

Orlando has GOT to be the best of both worlds… U can grow pretty much all of the tropical fruits we grow here in Miami, w/o the sweltering heat, and y’all get hydrangeas?!?! Yall are like the step child of Florida.. not blood related so… rather than getting humid cesspool swamp… u get the cool tropical stuff we can AND the pretty flowers 😭

I know this video is a couple years old hope you’re well but the construction will never end no matter what. Every acre of trees and wild orange groves will be chopped down and paved over till there’s none left. I’ve lived here in central Florida all my life and agree with your list but the daily intense rain and thunderstorms through June-September is something transplants should be aware about lol
@GracejoyTV26 күн бұрын
Thank you for your thoughts and for finding my 2 year old video! Lol. I hope they don't chop down EVERY acre of trees. And yes, June 1st starts Hurricane Season which comes every year.

What a misleading video. We moved here and knew it wasn’t gated, thus no HOA fees. The gates a a deterrent for traffics and shady people coming through. Construction on 27/441, duh, many, many areas are upgrading infrastructure to alleviate the congestion. Also, as a community there is expansion, thus the new housing construction. My wife and I have been here five weeks and did our research beforehand. We knew of the things you don’t dislike in your videos, but stilled moved. Absolutely, no regrets.

Most of the homes in the Villages clearly have been designed for a married couple, with lots of stuff, and with children and grandchildren expected to visit. There do not appear to be any homes for a single person (that just wants to play golf), with not a lot of stuff, and no children or grandchildren.
@GracejoyTV2 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing your observation. Yes, many of the homes are designed for couples who are retired but not necessarily have a lot of stuff. There are all kinds and sizes of homes depending on your budget. We downsized to a 2-bed/2-bath courtyard villa with a 1.5 car garage. Have you seen our courtyard villa tour? There are apartments in Brownwood and also some 2-story townhomes in Spanish Springs.
