Might attach a sacrificial anode somewhere underwater and run a wire to one of those bolts to the anode underwater. May help with corrosion and electrolysis.

How are they now? I’m dropped 1” and need a bit more comfort and control in daily driving. I’m not concerned with racing, but great stability.

my car that has them was in a flood. I haven’t driven the car in a long time, but my son has the same shocks on his car. He drives it and they’re wonderful. Adjust them to the way you want the car to feel.

You have to take the clip out and the middle part of the lifter for that tool to fit inside the lifter to pull it out

Take a metal drill bit roughly around the same size of the hole and hammer it and wedge down in there. Then take a pair of channel locks to the end of the bit and twist it out.

If the lifter gets stuck like that and that tool does not work you have to pull out the the water pump the fan shroud the radiator and all that good stuff just to pull out the cam because that's what you're going to have to do to extract the stuck lifter.

You have to be a little careful with this device. These go back a long ways. You can end up tearing out the lip with this tool if too much force is used. Take and hold up on the lifter, tap it back down a little while still holding up on it, using your hand as a spring, if this makes any sense. You may have to do it for a little while but you won't tear the lifter up this way. It will come out after a while.

Hi Dustin, Another great video! I was wondering if you have a log or a note book? I noticed during your videos you've been shooting from the hip I'll say, about racing, the race car, parts, how it handled etc etc. When I raced, I would list everything from weather, track conditions & temp, (using a hot spot), every single change made no matter how small, including build up if any on the tires, blistering, air pressure, anything and everything from the time we started the weekend to when we were done. I believe i made a spread sheet (SS) and went right down the list. Our first year especially, every time the shop light came on, out came our log. Every thought, idea went in. Every single weekend for the next 16 months i believe, the SS was updated with tons of new items with at least 3 pages with just lines for unexpected add ons and😂 notes. I believe my time in the Marines helped me manage things better and thats where the SS idea came about. We also did this during our early drag racing years which helped a lot as you have stored data to fall back on. And thats what we did for ovals & road courses as well. Im sorry, i sorta went long and if you are doing this maybe i should of shortened this up a tad lol. Well, the main thing here is what you are doing for your children. And you are absolutely right, if you had dreams of doing anything in life, get it done while your young, because once you have a child, your focus does change. Especially if you are a caring, loving parent as you are. Sadly, not all parents are like this & i think thats a big problem we are currently having. What im trying to say is, all the work we do, the traveling, fixing and mending race cars and the hearts of our children, alls it takes is that one time you over hear your daughter saying to her friends as she points at you, "Thats my daddy!" And its all worth it. My children are all in their 30's now and I still over here it from time to time and even in my birthday cards. It truly makes your heart smile! Catching up on your videos, especially the mustang ones as i have an '02 like your sons & if you ever need anything, or someone to track something down for you I'm here for you. I love what you are doing. God bless brother, Gunny GySgt USMC Disabled Veteran

We have definitely came along way with Racing and now we do write everything like you said because in order to learn your car in your Driver, you have to know every hundred thousands of measurement every decimal point of the air pressure it’s the only way to make it to the top Right now she’s fourth and fifth in the south open to that score on our last race at Charlotte. After this she moves the bigger cars and more challenges and more skills to learn. I greatly appreciate your comment. It was very touching. Thank you for your service and I need something I will contact you same here goes for you, thank you

Hey brother. Sorry to hear of the flood. We had a bad one here 2 years ago this past August. Floods basically ruin everything, especially your daily routine and everything else. My '02 is doing the same thing your son's is doing. I'm writing this at the start of your video. While you were sitting at the red light idling at 500! I'll watch and see what you come up with. I know I need a new fuel filter so that'll be the first thing I change. brb after video. Gunny GySgt USMC Disabled Veteran
