would the mount where the axle goes thru be the one causing the vibration? This seems like the harder one to install
@wills69charger1Ай бұрын
The wear on all of them collectively can cause the vibration but yes that one was the most damaged on my car.

Great video thank you for taking the time to share it it is a difficult job in a very tight space if you're a big guy. Several videos.... However they have various sequence of events, some of which are perhaps not "best practice"... Ideal #1 Spray the bracket nut and battery terminals with "Easing Fluid of you Choice".... #2. Remove the small electrical plug/socket on the Negative/Chassis Ground, while its "mate" is still attached and firm. #3 Remove the bolt holding the Negative/Chassis Ground cable to the bracket attached to the battery NEG post. Move the cables away from the battery and hold them clear with string/rope/clip (whatever)..... #4 Remove the bolt holding Positive/Red cable to the bracket attached to the POS battery post. Move the cable away from the battery and hold clear as per what was done with the Negative cable. #5... Another spray of "Easing Fluid of you Choice" to the nut at the top of the rod on the "hold down bracket"... Try to undo the nut, if it moves at all, then reverse direction (tighten) slightly and respray, then try and undo again.. It can be reached from above with a long extension bar. Try forward and back and spray to ease the nut off... Note 1:: If the battery terminal bolts are tight it's easier to work them loose without the battery dancing around. Note 2:: With the battery disconnected and the cables out of the way there is far less chance of the long extension bar causing a short between vehicle body and POS battery terminal. Note 3:: With the cables secured out of the way it is easier to "jiggle/juggle" the battery out. Clean it all up. Run the nuts on the various bolts, wire brush and lubricant.... And: If you are reading this then you are a DIY mechanic... Another 10-15 + minutes is not the end of the world...

Hey people it’s covered under warranty Expires 2035-09-14 or 150006 miles Warranty expiration is based on expiration date or expiration mileage, whichever comes first. Field Action Some 2019 - 2020 model year Cadillac XT4, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, or GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles, equipped with a 4-cylinder gas engine may have a condition that could cause the evaporative emissions purge pump to fail. If this condition occurs, the Malfunction Indicator Light (Check Engine Light) will illuminate and a diagnostic trouble code will set. This special coverage covers the condition described above for a period of 15 years or 150,000 miles (240,000 km), whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service, regardless of ownership. Repairs Dealers are to replace the evaporative emissions purge pump/canister as necessary. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer.

Have a 2006 Cadillac Escalade with front right power seats not working at all. Tried disconnecting battery (36hours twice) and reconnecting to no avail. I was told I will likely need to replace both motors. However, the seat will need to be removed and somehow the airbags signs may come on which will require reprogramming. Is any of this true???

I disconnected batteries while I removed it and didn’t have any air bag lights come on. Not sure about that

It’ll be super tight. Not worth it for a big family in my opinion. I ended up getting a bigger truck and the extra rear space is way better.

I get code P146B I can clear the code and it doesn't come back again until I shut down the vehicle and restart. This all started after filling up one morning truck runs fine completely lost if there was an issue wouldn't it come back on after I cleared it? Evap purge pump is what the code comes back to.

You still have an issue If the code keeps coming back after driving it.

@Dane-bootsNcatsN5 ай бұрын
I have same issue. I'm pretty sure this is the purge pump. Maybe take a picture of it and go to the parts store and ask to look at the purge pump before buying to verify. That's usually what I do, and what I'll be doing in this case Edit: same truck, same year, same code as you have.
