This election was the temporary defeat of communism in The United States. The 2008, 2012, and 2020 elections were the reemergence of communism in The United States. 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt ABSOLUTE FACT.

I was born during Reagan’s first year(1981). My children’s uncle that died of a OD in 2003, was born 11/04/1980, this day. RIP Reagan was one of the top 5 best presidents.

I was only a teenager back then and didn’t quite understand. Even many years later growing up in New York City meeting so many liberal Democratic politicians including the Clintons, I realize there’s only one person a lot worse than Carter. That the glassy eyed, weekend at Bernie’s now commander in chief we have now in 2024 Truly horrible

Amazing how history has forgotten John Anderson's candidacy in this election. While not all that significant, it WAS enough to get him a national following as the Independent, as small as it may have been. 😕 But I do gotta say, he and Orville Redenbacher woulda made one helluva great-lookin' ticket! 😁👍

Weird that they had the red states colored blue and vice-versa. I thought that it was always universally the other way for *all* three big networks. 🤷♂
@cmartin6773 күн бұрын
I believe the modern red/blue configuration came into being around the Clinton or Bush years...I'll check
@cmartin6773 күн бұрын
Yep, it was with the 2000 election (Bush) that media started universally using "red" and "blue" instead of Republican and Democrat.
@stevefrake89222 күн бұрын
All the networks alternated between red and blue for the two parties until 2000. Thanks to the endless election that year, red became the permanent Republican color and blue Democrat.

Imagine voting on Election Day!
@JohnDoe-fb1uk23 сағат бұрын
The Constitution dictates that voting in Presidential elections can only occurat the polling place in person on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November every 4 years. ABSOLUTE ZERO EXCEPTIONS. 100% beyond a shadow of doubt ABSOLUTE FACT. Voting any other way is a direct and specific violation of The Constituion Of The United States. 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt ABSOLUTE FACT. I love educating ALL of the intellectually challenged people in the world. Have a nice day.:)

Alan Keyes should have been the GOP nominee. He is the most articulate and intelligent person I have ever witnessed standing for nomination of either party in the last 56 years of political primary history [my politically conscious period] and in my opinion, there is no one even close. I often wonder how different and how much better off the U.S. would be had he been the GOP nominee and had gone on to defeat Al Gore. How much different would the climate or demeanor of politics be had that been the case? Would the decorum be leaps and bounds above where it is today? One of these men served two terms as POTUS and one stood for election eight years later. In my opinion, neither were worthy but neither were their opponents. Americans need to do a better job selecting party nominees and presidents. Perhaps one way of doing that is to vote for the person with the smallest campaign fund, since that would be the person less obligated to others. Better yet, take all the money out of federal elections and make all exposure to the candidates come from debates similart to this one. Tighten the format to having them sit down and discuss the various issue and their policies. Allow each of them to articulate them, question the other on their policies, answer the questions, point out the problems with the opponents policy, and why their policy would be better. This debate got away from that and was more about talking general talking points.

was the oldest president ever elected at the time, was 3 years out of office here. Was 80 years old. Still a year younger than Biden and only 2 years older than Trump. We don't need term limits but we do need age limits. Can't be older than 75 on inauguration day. Dude, you had 40 YEARS to become President. If you can't get it done prior to that, cry me a river.
