But what an observer (like… a interstelled empire border guard would see if a foreign ship passed by. Could an interstellar polity even HAVE a border, or would it just be a space version of the Italian city-states, and anybody else could warp through without being noticed?

I'd be interested in knowing what it would look like from a POV on the ship, looking forwards, backwards and sideways out the window. Looking forward would light from stars blue shift? Would all the stars appear to bunch up and compress towards you? and then opposite looking backwards? The stars would stretch out and shift red away from you? Another thing to consider is the density of stars in a galaxy - if you were to travel say 100-light years in your ship, you'd only pass a few dozen stars, and not have what looks like thousands pass by in seconds like the usual animations we see?

I was thinking of getting another electric skateboard, MEEPO v5 was my first 'beginner' board, it was pretty nice at commute, the 11 range isn't cutting it. The bamboo texture look elegant on the electric skateboard. Can't imagine having 21-31 miles of range, there would definitely no longer be 'range anxiety.' Donut wheels kinda sucks (ngl), I can feel every bumps, all terrain wheels would undoubtedly give a more pleasant experience. Imagine how much money you could save just riding the electric skateboard from home to school, and to work, and going on your own little adventure 🤤 I've went to place that I normally would've never venture to thanks to the electric skateboard. Walking to the store used to be a massive pain in the ass, but now with the electric skateboard, it's very convenient ( I don't think twice). It's still so annoying that I have to watch the rocks on the road.

I've watched every video on this bike and no one talks about how SLOW it can go. Can I comfortably do 3 or 4 mph while holding my dog's leash? I do that every day on my nimble 20" ebike, but it doesn't like hills. I want to move up in size and power but not at the expense of being able to go slowly when I feel like it. Any thoughts?

I have no idea why Electric Skateboards use carbon fiber so much. You pay for that/ Wood is still the KING for any skateboard..technically bamboo is a grass but in this context it is 'wood like' and the natural flex is superior to carbon fiber decks which is just overkill..
