Yes a follow up on BrainChip please, they appear to actually be leading the pack even though they are not a big known company yet
@allangordon24313 жыл бұрын
Yep, re WW3 in 2035 over power consumed by data centers...follow that path for your shortlist of neuromorphics. My understanding is all but brainchip will still see us fry come that apocalypse.

Well ahead of the pack, amazing foresight by PVDM. Great mind ahead of his time. Genius!! Not too late to get into this still hugely undervalued

Thanks for the breakdown, I would like to more about Brainchip please
@SaiyanGokuGohan3 жыл бұрын
Brainchip are 2-3 years ahead of Intel and IBM, and Loihi 1 & 2 are “research chips” and aren’t ready for commercialisation for a couple years,. Whereas Brainchip is starting commercialisation now, and have already signed a material contract with RENESAS and RENESAS will have the first neuromorphic chip available in the coming months.

I know of Brainchip and its AKIDA chip appears to be in commercialization stage now, approximately 3 years ahead of the other chip developers mentioned.

The breakdown of the neupmorphic computing strategies by the various companies would be very interesting. I'd love to see this.

I remember a paper way back in the day on neural networks with memristors and I was very excited about memristors. I'm still very excited about them. Essentially you could compute with your memory. Super nifty stuff! Thanks as always Emmett for putting a smile on my face.
