There’s an English song that has similar chorus. Can’t name the singer though.

Hi I just wanted to let you know that there is a boycott of this song currently in the Stray Kids fanbase (Stayville) due to the fact that Charlie puth and the other writer of this song are zionists. This song was not written by 3Racha. Please join us in our efforts to help the JYP company divest from zionism. There is also a boycott of Hybe music groups and products as their CEO Scooter Braun is also a zionist. Please help spread word to other creators as well, and help the K-POP community to stand up for what is right. There are many other ways to support Stray Kids, such as joining stayville boycott projects, which can be found on twitter, and streaming their other music with no connections to Zionism. Free Palestine.

Every cloud has a silver lining. A silver cloud = hope for a better future? Using parts of himself to climb up from the underground and leaving those parts behind, maybe that he needs to reintegrate with to not be lost? We listeners are meant to be lost. We are not supposed to navigate his brain clearly. After all Namjoon can't. The trouble with a high IQ is you think too much, you tie yourself up in a maze of different interpretations of every thought and emotion.

In a world of bland homogeneous pop. RM makes you stop and think. Its strangely addictive and after a 4th or 5th listen... its a favourite. In a world of fast fashion and fast pop designed more for the fast buck than art. RM is that rare breed. A successful artist with alot to lose who just wants to make music. He trusts that his fans are not stupid and will enjoy complex ideas, interesting sound scapes and music designed to provoke your own imagination not be disposable brain dead junk.

6:49 I know there’s always been this conversation about people who aren’t apart of the African American Culture/Rap Scene taking a part in or taking credit for things and being worshiped for it while the people who are actually from the culture get talked down on and have negative labels put onto them. However, in today’s world there’s so much immediate judgment and “gatekeeping” on anything culture related. I know there’s still many situations where people appropriate a culture and I understand this immediate gatekeeping is the new way to try and stop it but it’s causing so much hatred and misunderstandings to a point that listening or participating in any kind of music scene just isn’t fun anymore. Believe it or not this happens even in Kpop. It’s like you can enjoy it secretly but you can’t participate in it if you’re not from the culture it originated from. Like you said XG has given their respect and have made it clear multiple times that they’re inspired by HipHop and R&B but they still get shit talked on and get called posers. Then you have people who are from said cultures who fully vibe with what XG is doing and that makes it even more confusing on what’s right and what’s wrong with what XG is doing. Many people don’t see anything they’re doing as “posing” or “appropriating” so who is anyone to say anything as if it’s fact? I think if you don’t like something that strongly to where you hate comment on everything they’re doing while others actually love it and vibe with it, maybe take a step back and see it as something that’s just not for you and be on your way. People stating their opinions as if they’re facts when it’s really just a point of view.

If people are actually open to sharing their culture as long as it’s appreciated and not appropriated, then they would look into these artist and try to see their reasonings for the kind of music they do. We can’t immediately hate jump them and assume they’re posing. XG have been very respectful and open when it comes to giving credit to where their inspirations come from.

The director of the mv is the director of Beef on Netflix! He gave a very fun interview about it and how he pulled in major names from the Korean movie/tv seen to act and produce the whole thing. I think it was for the Hollywood Reporter but I could absolutely be mistaken.
