SPY is... an experience. Definitely was a grower for me back when I first heard it, but the members (playfully) hate it, and that makes it so much better. Us ELFs love requesting it because SuJu gets so annoyed when they have to remember the choreo. The song has become more of an ongoing inside joke, I think, and I have a lot of love for it.

Kyuhyun actually has one of the most successful solo careers in Korea, known as one of the best vocalists. They also have sub-units and members of the Super Junior K.R.Y. Sub-unit (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung) also have solo work. Sorry-Sorry Answer is a masterpiece and very underrated. In fact, most of the adlibs were done by Yoo Young Jin. A famous SM producer. Considering this song is very difficult, So not many can cover it outside the group. SPY is the song Suju least wants to perform. Because of the difficulty in the dance which tends to be random and storytelling. And musically, this song is very technical. If this song is suddenly played at an show or their own concert, they will firmly reject it. Even Shindong jokingly erased his memory of this song. Sexy free and single reminds me of Supernova with a robotic space feel. With "Devil" this song is liked by Yesung If you ask where they are now, of course they are busy with their individual schedules. Siwon who often gets jobs in many dramas. Leeteuk, Heechul and Shindong are busy with their variety show schedules. Donghae and Eunhyuk are busy with their chat content and Eunhyuk has just made his solo debut with a mini album titled "EXPLORER" While KRY is focused on working on their solo album, Kyuhyun also often gets scheduled in many shows. "Sorry Sorry Answer" was released in 2009 just like "Sorry Sorry" was, but as you noticed, they have completely different vibes. Although "Sorry Sorry Answer" has a few of the same lines and samples the melody from "Sorry Sorry" -- this was not the ballad/ R&B version of "Sorry Sorry" -- they are separate songs that are considered partner songs because the story kind of continues from one song to the next. You should really look up the lyrics to both songs to see what they are talking about. "Sorry Sorry" was first and "Sorry Sorry Answer" comes next because it's their answer to what they are talking about in "Sorry Sorry." Fun fact: One way you can tell that this MV was from 2009 is because Hangeng (Super Junior's Chinese member, and the first non-Korean member of a Kpop group) is in these MVs and he left the group in 2010. There are 11 members of the original 13 member main group of SuJu in this MV -- Leeteuk*, Heechul, Hangeng, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae**, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun. Kibum did not participate in this song and KangIn was the first of the SuJu members to enlist in the military, so he had just left for the military right before this. (However, all 13 members are in "Sorry Sorry.") Using the group shot at the very end of the video, from left to right, the members are: Donghae, Ryeowook, Yesung, *KangIn (who was not in the MV), Siwon, Hangeng, Heechul, Leeteuk, Shindong, Sungmin, Kyuhyun and Eunhyuk. *KangIn was involved in a scandal at this time, so SM had him enlist in the military early to give time for things to cool down and for KangIn to atone for his mistakes, etc. So that's probably why he was in the photoshoot for the song, which we see at the end of the video, but not actually in the MV. The Studio version of "Sorry Sorry Answer," which you just heard, is good, but you haven't truly experienced just how great this song is until you hear the live performance sung by Super Junior-K.R.Y. Even though the Sorry Sorry harmony parts are sung by all the members in the MV and album version, "Sorry Sorry Answer" is really K.R.Y.'s song. (That is why we primarily only see K.R.Y. singing in the MV. The main runs and adlibs in the background aren't even sung by any of the SuJu members in the MV -- SM's longtime producer and vocal coach Yoo YoungJin is the voice we hear.) Super Junior- K.R.Y. is one of Super Junior's 6 sub-units and this unit is made up of SJ's 3 main vocalists (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung -- hence the name K.R.Y.), who are 3 of the best vocalists in the industry. When the group was originally put together they were supposed to be a project group that would only be together for a few months, so SM didn't really create the group with a specific concept or style, therefore, the members are very diverse. And I think that is one of the reasons why SuJu's sound and style is much more organic and fluid because it's constantly changing and evolving like how SM originally had planned for the group. In the beginning SM planned for the members to leave Super Junior '05 and become members of different groups, etc., but because of the love of E.L.F. (SJ's fans) they ended up staying together as a permanent group. So the way the group was formed and the members were chosen is a little differently than most Kpop groups.

7:20 most of the runs/some lines in the song are actually done by Yoo Young-jin, a legendary SM singer/songwriter/producer/vocal coach. He's made a LOT of hits over the years, and has a couple of albums of his own out as well. His most famous students are EXO's D.O. and aespa's Winter, known as his "son" and "daughter" respectively for how well they picked up his vocal tone and techniques. He has an SM station with D.O. called Tell Me (What is Love) that iirc you reacted to a while ago, but it was the live version so Yoo Young-jin wasn't there. I highly recommend listening to that song for sure, it's rnb goodness to the max.

Although I prefer OPERA Japanese version for studio version, but I need to admit their live performance in Spin-Off was the best! I think Burn the Floor, Raining Spell for Love, Callin', Black Suit showcase more of their talents (recommend to watch live performance, live clip). I remember Mr. Simple and Sexy Free & Single becoming my earworms that got me into Super Junior for a few weeks straight. I kept streaming them over and over until I decided to find more songs which were Break Down (SJ-M) and Bonamana then it went all downhill from there. "A-Cha" was the title track on Super Junior's album Mr. Simple (A-Cha), which was released in 2011. There are technically still 10 members in this song. However, you really only see 8 members in the choreography because Heechul was only days away from enlistment and knew he would not be able to participate in the promotions for this album, so he wanted to make it easier for the rest of the members by not participate in the choreography. And Siwon was busy working on a drama and didn't have time to promote with the group so he also decided not to participate in the dance.

Sorry Sorry Answer is such a vibe. A-Cha I have always loved because it has a rock vibe to it. Spy is a meme, the song is also known as "pass" because every time it comes up the members say "Pass! Pass!" 😂I like it in bits and pieces but some of the parts are a choice.

KRY do have solo works as well as songs of just them 3. I think they are known in the industry as great singers but still are slept on lol. And I believe with koreans, kyuhyun is the most famous and they do know his solo work

I"m not gonna lie. I've been a long time ELF, since 2008. But I just listen to their music (a lot on repeat). Their videos on the other hand are a bit to take for a newcomer if you get what i mean haha

Both ELF and Suju have a very strange relationship with SPY. I don't think we particularly liked the song at the beginning, not more than any other song anyway, but the moment Suju started hating on it, we started liking it more, and asking for it, and the more we asked, the more Suju said no! XD Until they found a way to enjoy the song once again. Win/win all around! I personally really like ACHA. While it's just another "SM autotune in a box" song, it has a charm to it, of that type of song is one of my faves. Bonamana I learned to like, thanks mostly to the rock live version. I really do hope we convince you to watch some live clips at some point (on patreon or on you own if you prefer, we just need to know what you thought after! ;)) Sorry Sorry Answer is amazing an KRY live is my favorite version by far ;) And we are finally out of the autotune in a box era! From now on Suju will try a lot more different styles (they did before as well, but not as main tracks, mostly). Mamacita is them at their most "Suju", This is Love and Evanesce is them giving Shindong the reins to experiment with storytelling (he directed both MVs) and then there's Devil (if you react to that song, please do the performance version!) As other comments have mentioned, Kyu, Ryeowook and Yesung all have solo careers and work as a trio. For the solo stuff there's plenty of MVs to react to (personally, I love Yesung's eclectic taste in music). As for KRY, most of the really great stuff is live (that's the case for most of Suju, really) I hope you keep enjoying Suju! (And if you're ever interested in their variety experience... well, there's plenty to choose from!)

Yesung is one of my favorite singers in k-pop and his music is very artistic, kinda intimate (maybe similar to Suho's, like a feeling?). Also his You Tube channel? He doesn't makes a content, but art. In all his videos he pours his soul, his everything, you can almost feel it phisycally. Fun fact, one of his albums is calles "Sensory Flows" and I find it very fitting. His latest EP "It's Complicated" came out last November and I highly recommend it. Also his song "Floral Sense" featuring Winter of aespa is still one of my favorites of 2023. Anyways, SuJu somehow became a punching bag for a newest generations of k-poppies. I can't forgive all the rumors they spread based on things happened 15 years ago and that were clarified back then, but kppopies take them out of context and throw their venom left and right just to spread hate and make their favorites look like underdogs who have overcome many huge struggles to be successful. SUPER JUNIOR is the group that has been through so much pain literally and figuratively, but you will never hear the members or fandom to show off a victim card to look like kinda "hero"' and act superior. There is a documentary from 2023 on Disney+, 2 episodes. It's very interesting to watch it and maybe you''ll get toknow SUPER JUNIOR a bit better. I'm sorry for my long rant, but I just love this group so much and my heart aches from all the unfair treatment from younger k-pop fans. We should give SUPER JUNIOR their flowers for spreading Hallyu and k-pop, making steps outside their country facing all prejudices being pioneers bringing something new and unknown to the world. Oh, I'm used to Sexy,Free and Single from Super Junior M😅🤣. Yoo Young Jin is the director of SM and he mentored a lot of vocalists especially when it comes to R&B. Till this day some of his demo on youtube is my favorite.

SPY is high concept, and the blocking for the choreography became so difficult when they were going through their enlistment years tha they pretty much refused to perform it (there are MANY clips online of them hating on the song 😅). Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung are the main vocalists and they perform together as KRY (the first ever kpop subunit!). Kyuhyun has released MANY ballads, his most famous song being At Gwanghwamun. Ryeowook has also released a lot of ballads, his most famous probably being The Little Prince. Yesung has tried many genres! His recent work could be classified as rock/indie rock and he sings in both Korean and Japanese. His recent release is called "It's Complicated".
