Well said indeed Ma'am. As a retired 3rd generation Combat Veteran and Purple Heart recipient, I sincerely applaud and thank you for your message and your efforts. “We don’t have enough housing” is simply not true. There are more vacant houses here in Denver than there are homeless people. The problem is that housing has become a commodity and investment for the wealthy who set the rent prices however they like or own 2-3 homes that they do not use. We do have enough housing, we just have too many greedy landowners.
@agapimarketing
@agapimarketing 5 ай бұрын
You are very fortunate in Denver. Here in Calgary, we have a severe housing shortage. In my full video, I do mention that it depends on where you live, but I'm glad to know our "sister city" of Denver has plenty of housing. It is unfortunate that the rent prices and availability are dependent on those who only hold the property for an investment. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

That's because illegals immigrants take millions of rentals and houses. Plus foreign investors just wanting high rent housing built only. Then fact in cities they want to stop development of more high rise residential housing because all the red tape. Then fact avaliable jobs are going to automation and a.i and China. Plus price gouging by us manufacturers and we plowing up farms and forcing them out by government regulations. It's all connected.

The easiest solution is expansion and no I don't mean to the moon or other countries, roughly 70% of America is unsettled the reason we are having the problems we have is no one wants to settle new lands thanks to inflation and humans for the most part for some reason insist on living ontop of each other and and near as possible to shopping centers, America has become to complacent and lazy our four fathers would be embarrassed that this country turned into to Europe 2.0.

This is the deep state harvesting the last remnants of wealth from America before they destroy it. Taxes are through the roof, insurance is totally unaffordable in my area, and all that free money over the last few years has driven up the cost of housing to insane levels. The collapse is coming. If they can’t rule the country, they’re going to destroy it.

I'm in good health at 72. I go to a heart doctor once a year and get checkups. I'm active and eat healthy. But, by 75, I'm going as natural as possible. I don't want to be a burden to anyone. I'm not accepting certain medical assistance. I'm actually a very spiritual person and gifted. I'm preparing for the next journey and trying to heighten my 6th sense and meditate often. So, I was told I have a healthy and more positive view on getting older and passing to that next life. I converse with God daily and am very happy to work in my garden or go out to eat with friends . So I cherish each day and live in the moment.

@agapimarketing
@agapimarketing 7 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment. As mentioned in the video, I am suggesting that we open a dialogue. We need to see how far we are willing to go as a society to sustain life. I work every day with seniors and their families to ensure they are living the best life they can, and the best life they want. And we need to ask those people who are living longer lives what it is that they want. Many of them are not happy. They can't afford many things, some of them have lost all the people in their lives who mattered to them, and many of them have commented to me that they are just tired. I love the scientific aspect of what can be done, but I do think we at least need to talk about things like this that impact individuals and society. Your turn. :)

Manufactured scarcity, corruption at the highest level, distribution of resources, imaginary demarcation lines, it’s hard to run a debt based society with abundance. The modern city is a major problem with how much resources it leaches off without giving anything back. Like cattle at a trough helpless to graze on their own. It breeds an entitled, pretentious, self centered sadist class hooked on instant gratification, oblivious to their own role as being part of the problem stuck in very low consciousness bubbles unfortunately voting & having their numbers out weigh land masses.

There are plenty of resources on this planet for everyone for a VERY long time. The big issue right now is a lack of proper distribution. The United States uses more water flushing toilets daily than other countries get for drinking water daily.
@agapimarketing
@agapimarketing 7 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment. Distribution of resources and population is definitely a major part of sustainability, but the bigger question is the ethical question about continuing to sustain individuals through medical and pharmacological interventions, requiring more resources and creating strain on those resources. I'm hoping to stimulate discussion about the ethics and the moral responsibility of continuing to add years and years to humans, many of whom have run out of financial resources, friends, and in many cases, family, and are existing but not having an enjoyable experience. I'm not stating a preference one way or the other, but do think that as a society we should at least be opening dialogue and exploring options.
