I had the tan 2022 model and yes it was to high, so this is a great idea but the seat is not comfortable

Probably my next bike coming from a zx6r. This one is more tourable and easier to "manhandle" and lower seat. And a big maaaybe doing some light trails... still this is big bike... Done with Sports riding..
@valcrist7428Күн бұрын
I wish I am as tall as this guy. But I am on the shorter side. I can ride this but not flat footed. Currenly have a zx6r and tiptoeing on both feet.. Ninja 1000sx was my other choice before getting the zx6r.. Now I'm done with Supersport Riding, I would probably have this bike or something more lighter and have a lower seat.. and tourable.. where you can leave your stuffs secured and noone knows you are riding a motorbike.

Had the 606’s but I’ve been riding more dirt lately so I switched to some Trakmaster tires and they’re definitely better off road especially for low air pressure enduro riding. The 606’s are definitely better on the street and I’m sure last longer. You should try some 90-100 21 or 90-90 21 tired in the front if you ever ride hard off-road they are amazing.. I had the Kenda washgal 2 for awhile and wow it’s insanely good for rocks & sand and pretty much everything else when off road in harder conditions

Great review! Now I have an important question for you…… I saw other of your movies and you were telling you have a Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and you did a testride with the Honda CL500: I know the Honda CL500 and this Z500 are different bikes but thoe two bikes are on my list for next buy. I did testride tthem both however I can’t figure it out. The cl500 offers a more up ride position but I found the Engine character of both also different despite the have similar engine specs. To long ago and not an expert but I had the feeling the CL500 was more on torque. Difficult to say because there is no tachometer on the Honda. I can’t say the Honda or Kawasaki was faster. What do you think? Thx for your answer 🙏🏻 PS, i ask the same question with another account on another video.

I prefer the older model, because it's not "refined" it looks raw, the new version looks like everything else. I'm actually buying a 2022 for the wife only 900km on the clock for €5k, which is a bargain for Finland prices.

I really dislike the entire rear end of this bike. I always wanted a triple and that stopped me from getting one. The number plate and lights on the rear wheel is an unfortunate trend for me. The stubby seat, I just can’t. Trends come and go and I’m hoping this trend goes the way of the underseat exhaust. Another miss for me. I really wanted to love this bike.

Well, it is now coming to the UK. I have been riding motorcycles since 1968 and am an old codger. My BMW and Guzzi days are over, the buggers put on 5KG every time I have a birthday. I bought a RE 350 a couple of years ago but sold it as the UK importer at the time seemed to think that making spare parts available was beneath them. The new Honda will take sales from RE by the thousand ,the bike is perfect for us old gits although I would like a chrome exhaust , it does have fork gaiters in the UK. Great video, many thanks for posting it. Cheers from Cornwall. I will buy you a few beers ( St Austell Proper Job) should you find yourself here in God's chosen land.

It's so funny to me that this issue has been known for like a decade and people in dealership still offer bogus suggestions as if it's something brand new. Your solution doesn't solve everyone's issue but I wonder what caused the spark plug to be discolored like that. My video for example goes over this very problem and there are a billion theories. What is known is that it's a KTM issue.

You ended with comparing it with the RE350 classic/HNTR. I think that this one feels a bit lighter and also quicker. Now they introduced it also for Europe. Who knows how it will sell, but for sure it is an interesting bike. Will see. Does it come with a center stand?

Finally Honda, you woke up from your design sleep, I thought you had fired your designers ! Ok, they have the Cub 125 but ruined it with keyless start and a not so nice analogue display, the original was far nicer but it's analogue so better than TFT. I have been so sick of Honda's stick bug shape sport and sport tourer bikes and ugly as shit TFT screens, you just can't get more boring than a NC750x or pretty much most modern Honda or other Bikes. Triumph have the gorgeous Bonneville, now the Speed 400, Royal Enfield, well, they don't make boring looking bikes do they ? Royal Enfield have the Classic 650 coming lovely bike but shame on the TFT navigation display, it was not needed and completely out of character, I just don't get who can make these decisions ? An analogue fuel gauge in it's place would have been far better ! Kawasaki still have the W800 and the Z650 RS. Any other modern retros I'm missing ? But well done Honda, I hope the GB350s is the beginning of more gorgeous bikes to come hopefully with more power and the least amount of electronics and no digital screens at all ? think Bonneville T100 !

I am from the US and recently purchased the speed 400. I really love the look of the bike, kind of classic kind of modern and I love the fact that it’s a completely new engine design specifically as part of the package.I am a petite older female, with a 28 inch inseam at best, who really appreciates a lighter more nimble bike. I have lowered the 400 with a Metisse lowering system and I also shaved my seat down. I absolutely love this bike. Where I live in Virginia, we have a ton of twisty paved roads, and some gravel and this bike fits the bill precisely for the type of road I like to ride! Thanks for your review. It’s fun to hear everybody’s thoughts. Keep up the good work!

I was considering this Z500…. For 3 years I had the Ninja 400 and the Z900 at the same time. I had the ninja for 4 years overall. The 400 was a commute and run-a-round bike and the Z900 was a weekend bike. Now my situation has changed, i now have a KLX230 Dual Sport for commuting and everything else, and I don’t ride or can’t be bothered with the Z900. So I’m considering selling my Z900 for the Z500. I love the KLX for weekend rides looking for back roads and gravel roads, but it’s shit on the freeways. It’s also shit on the long distant errands. Chunky tires aren’t really good on road!!! Commutes on the KLX are ok as my new office is only 10km away. I hate using the Z900 for every day, cos there’s just too much power to be in traffic or busy areas. Im a short rider, but the seat height of the Z900 is ok for me, but the bike is sometimes too heavy for me for everyday use. This is where I think the 500 would fit in. The KLX for fun and the 500 for everything else? But I did sell the 400 for all the negatives that the 500 seems to have inherited . I’m also considering that the Z900’s insurance is crazy compared to when I had the 400. Am I crazy for considering swapping my Z900 for this?

I think the CB650R is more special. The CB750 is a budget bike, built to a price. Sure it's still a very good bike but it looks cheap and I really don't like that 160mm rear wheel. I bought the CB650R. It's a fantastic bike and so addictive to use that screaming inline 4 on a windy mountain road.

question...im planning to get a vitpilen 2022 model since there are tons of great deals now! however, since the 24 model uses a different engine, will this have a negative impact for the old models? Like parts availability, etc.

I'm glad we are going to get it here in the US. Because it has a belt drive, it's going to be nice not having to clean and lube a chain every 500 miles. That's a "turn off" to newer, and this very older, riders.
