these movies root are from ancient genre called tragedies made famous from greek writer Sophocles 2000 years back He wrote the famous oedipus story where the term oedipus complex was termed after. Maharaja reminded me of oedipus story to a degree. But that is more focused on fate and how no one can change it.

Apocalypto was definitely disturbing but I loved the making and the performance of all characters in the movie.....but after you said it not a perfect one I am like😮😮. Now I have to agree with you😂😂😂but really watched it twice with jaws open thinking of the making😢😂
