@@gillianosborne-z7k The secret is to not look at your reverse screen as you go back as it gives you a false perspective, just use your mirrors and take your time

@@FinBinMan It's actually a good wash lol I don't like it at full pressure so I tend to turn it down a little . Ye it's good,the commercial is a good number , better than the domestic that's for sure

@FinBinMan They hold about 5.5 ton,it can vary from truck to truck ,I tend to find the newer the Dennis the less it holds for some strange reason

@@Bin_Truck_Fan87 I would say it's not particularly hard to drive a truck, your first time in one it will feel huge and intimidating but you will soon get used to it. Being up higher than everyone else also helps with visability. A Bin lorry is very easy to drive as well . All the best 👍👍

@@Chicken-x6q6d Ye only 4 years Is our policy,our old 19 plates all went this year so I think 21 plates will be out oldest on the fleet. Aye the cup holders are handy down by the floor ,that's one of the gripes with the old elite 6 is their lack of cup holders

I worked with a 2013 plate wagon at a place in Lancashire in 2021/22. I think it is still there as a spare wagon as it was a regular visitor at the transfer station I worked at last year.

That is good have you do it before is it foe caffeine and school and shops

@@loganthomson707 I think we are due new food waste lorries next year, Commercial waste is from a business pal, they have to pay to get it taken away as I think council tax probably only covers household domestic waste

From when the commercial waste was privatised by the thatcher woman.... Took the waste charge out of the commercial rates . The Idea being you could then choose who serviced your bins......But did it at the same day as one of the biggest ever increases in the rating system. So no one noticed. To this day businesses moan to us about "why do we pay rates " when we get charged for rubbish.. cheers Bin lorry driver from Ni..
