Fifteen year old boy's dream. A little younger too but it fit us well. We were the perfect age for this. Van Halen, not Van Hagar,

Hahahah! Never Van Hagar. He’s great but there isn’t a substitution for Diamond Dave

@catsarai-genxrewind5271 yeah, I loved Sammy solo but not with Eddie and the boys. DLR is Van Halen.

U2 made the album called " The Joshua Tree " and won Grammy Award album of the year in 1988. And won another Grammy Award for best Rock Performance by a Duo or group with vocal.

I used to be part of my local "anti-popular music league" when this album released, and at the time, I thought Siouxsie "sold out" for pop music. I refused to listen to the album and actually got rid of my other two Siouxsie tapes I had (Tinderbox and Juju), it wasn't until years later when I stopped being an angry beanie wearing highschooler who grew up in a well adjusted home that my philosophy of music softened (my philosophy of music being popular=bad) that I checked this album out, and was rewarded. Yes, it is very radio/pop friendly but it's still an excellently put together album with virtually no "filler".

Hansey? Grow up gen x. Let me guess he committed a crime? And in the bible there is no such thing as a female angel, as they were made in the image of God.

@chrisjohnson6138 And men wrote the bible. Conservative family values: ". . . women can reject rape sperm . . ."; ". . . lay back and enjoy it . . ."; " . . . grab'em by the &%#@y . . ."; ". . . keep'em barefoot and pregnant . . .". This is music appreciation - not a stump speech on a preacher podium. You are free to believe as you wish - with the caveat that you will not interfere in any one else's views. You will tolerate the existence of people that do not believe as you do. This is called 'being an adult'. Grow up, zealot.

Music culture, technology and tastes have moved away so much from how things were in the 70s and 80s in a World that allowed people like Bowie and Mercury (plus May, Taylor and Deacon) to flourish with the incredible talent they had. No, there won’t be legends like this again, not at this level. I wish I’d fully appreciated how good we had it and how lucky we were at the time.
