I can't hear pitch correction ("autotune") in the main vocals, but she lip synched to focus on dancing, which is what I prefer. I'd rather hear the best takes on playback optimally mixed and mastered with the instrumental for high energy dancable tracks. I'd only rather hear live singing in songs like Everytime or the jazz remix of Baby One More Time. She's totally open about lip synching and it's not meant to be a secret. You're hearing the music much louder than you'd ever hear it at home, big sub-woofers, surrounded by fellow Britney fans, watching a live performance with dancing, props, light shows, etc etc

34:08 FL studio has a bot voice generator with that voice. You can make it say anything you type in that voice. I haven't used it for so long that I forgot it's name
@Godzilla_Star_Eater9 күн бұрын
27:31 sounds like a vocoded or morphed mix of the vocal with a synth. Morph is a vst that fuses sounds together. Mick Gordon used it to mix a guitar with a chainsaw for DOOM 2016
@Godzilla_Star_Eater9 күн бұрын
I don't use presets or sample packs because I make everything myself so I can't relate 15:50 17:12 that's why I love Britney's music. It's lowkey hardcore, dissonant

im surprised you didnt notice all the other punches throughout the lead vocals track besides the whistle section, maybe you did but just didnt bring it up tho, not taking away anything from anybody obviously and dear God her voice is insane and so is the production, i love hearing this stuff and there's literally not much i wouldnt give away to hear all her recording sessions and different takes to say the least.. these videos pretty much feel like a masterclass so thank you for making them in the first place you're amazing !!

"Elvis was just pretty good at singing" ... well, ya think? And for what it's worth, I think the mix sounds great originally as it is, no need for over-EQ-ing kicks etc. Modern mixes can sound too bass-heavy to me most times, especially on the kick drums. It's cool that you have found these multitracks though.

1:43 ok I’m obviously hitting your other videos now lol. Again, I’m grooving on the exact stuff you are. I made the exact same face at the timestamp. 😂 I’m the person that will obsessively pick apart all the little bits of whatever song I’m into. I’ll play it through as many times as it takes to sing along with every part, so your stuff is right up my alley. I may have gone a little geeky there, sorry. But seriously, I love your work, man.

Can you post your transcription of the synth solo?
@jackberlien8916Ай бұрын
Call me crazy but given this is "one of the greatest and most iconic disco songs of the world", why are you literally talking / singing and playing over the first tracks you play so that we can't hear them???
@luffegunАй бұрын
Because I get copyright strikes if I let the music play more than like 10seconds :( I know it annoys me too but I’ve been able to provide over 100 videos this way without violating copyright laws and I have contested over 300 copyright claims on said videos. Again my apologies. Also this is a podcast type show built on the conversation around the music rather than a listening session. At least that how it is presented. So I thank you so much for giving it a chance at least! Thank you Jack! :)
@jackberlien8916Ай бұрын
@luffegun I see and appreciate the answer as well as the video. I see someone else below asked the same thing so I don't feel too bad for being critical!
@luffegunАй бұрын
Never feel bad for being critical I get the question all the time! ;) trust me it boils my piss not to be able to share these the way people want then but I’ve got to add this too it to be able to keep them up. Also this whole project has been a bit of an exercise in how to get comfortable talking to no one about something aswell it really dragged me out of a bad time in my life to do these episodes :)
