This no longer works. You cannot change the layer from Print Then Cut for anything you upload yourself.

You should use a unbent paper clip for the axle, while doing the cricut pinwheels. ^_^ (unbend and straighten the paper clip until you get to the "hook" end, and then use a pair of pliers, to bend the "hook" end into a loop. Then cut off the excess metal at the "looped" end.) This method works every time! ^_^

This is so cool. And if you use the "place on path" function you can get some really neat shapes too to cut out. So much fun!

Finally, I understand the use of Layers in Inkscape. I'm doing a lot of projects (not for Cricut) where I'm tracing a photo (houses, people, etc). I accidentally learned about locking the picture layer but I never really knew the point (except now I don't accidentally click the photo and drag it out of place before noticing). Now I'll be able to use this feature better, creating more layers. I've had that symmetric node happen to me and never understood what was going on! Thank you! What would have happened if you use the triangle in, or the ellipse functions for the Bezier pen?
