Hey John, I have an '04 LX470 and wanted to say thanks for all of your videos. Seems as almost every LX470 project I take on I end up watching one of your videos. The most recent being my Alpha Garage grill & Raptor lights, thanks so much for all of your work posting the videos, very much appreciated...

Just bent a piece of pre fab sheet metal and drilled some holes through the plastic under panel. Used a bolt, washer and nut to make sure nothing vibrates loose. Had extreme vapor over pressure running all day at 106 temp. No boil, topped the coolant and it went away. Barrier that line from the cat and shield, those cats heat the inside of the car.

Thank you for this video! I'm so small I was able to replace it by accessing it just through the wheel well! It took me all of 30 minutes. I do have a 1.5" spacer on my wheels so that gave me a little more room. Codes cleared and passed smog!

The rear bolt holes needed to cleaned out with a wire brush and the new bolt will screw in with no issues.

Hey. Just found your channel. Great video. Considering getting one of these. Was first thinking of getting a Victory side panel, but this has 2 suction cups to spread out the weight and is made to match the 100 series. Both things I like a lot. I like that the Victory one is hinged to allow easy cleaning behind it though. Have you had any problem keeping that window clean?

Why the Scanguage 2 vs 3? One mod to my 05 LX is the Grom AUX in adapter, $90 shipped, I hook up a portable CarPlay screen but can also hookup my moded iPod 5th Gen.

My best hack when I bought my LX was that I had a Mazda 3. Mazda was totaled so now I daily the LX. Lucky for me my next tip is go get a WFH job like me, saves tons of gas.

For around here, with all of the water crossings we have in the Ozarks I’d say extended diff breathers. Most people don’t know that the factory ones arent actually breathers. They are just a vent. So when they get up to temp they can vent off the needed air. Then when you cross that epic river or even just a small creek, they want to suck in air as they immediately contract due to the much colder water than the operating temp, and they’ll usually suck in water past the seals. A simple breather will end this problem. No more chocolate milk diff fluid.

Man this video came at the absolute perfect timing. I just installed 5% tint on the LX and couldn’t see a dang thing when backing into my parking spot. I will 100% be getting those Lasfit Reverse lights. On another note - I’d have to throw in a set of Seat Jackers from Desert Does it. I have a set in my GX and it was my top #1 favorite upgrade. I’ll be ordering a set for my LX very soon. Cheers!

How did you unplug the OEM relay? I got the screw undone. Plate and trim removed underneath the steering wheel but I cannot for the life of me get the connector out. Thanks!
