John, thank you so much for this CBT video series. I wish I had watched these before taking on my CBT last month. I really struggled with slow speed manouvres - I was leaning my body weight into the turns while I was looking round and kept putting my foot down as a result. The instructor did not advise on correct body positioning and as a result I continued to lose the bike into the turns. I was let go before the road portion. I will be trying at a different school when the weather is kinder early next year. The knowledge from these videos has already boosted my confidence and understanding, so really appreciated.

Like the explanations but the background noise particularly the wind noise is painfully distracting.

This is as close as you can get to an actual CBT experience other than actually taking it. Excellent!! 👍😎

Thank you so much for creating that series! It’s structured so well and the demonstrations really helped me to understand why we need to do certain things and avoid others. Simple things like the pencil on the cooker to demonstrate lean angles and grip! Brilliant. I wish I lived nearer as I’d definitely go for an advanced course with ProScot! Thanks again - awesome 👍

A great series of videos. I realise you were heavily restricted during the heights of lockdown. I’m just starting my IAM journey after passing my Mods 6 months ago. I used your Mods / CBT videos to help me get my head round some of the stuff during L-Test training. Keep doing what you do best.

I've just subscribed to your great channel from Derbyshire.England. This channel and yourself have great videos and expert Instruction delivered for the subjects covered in my opinion. I'm 60yrs of age..been riding various bikes since I was 11yrs old. Passed my bike test in 1982. I started a job years ago which involved 300 mile per week commute in all seasons, as a result I wanted to undergo some training did a Bikesafe course in 2014, followed that up with an ERS course 2015, then RoSPA course in 2015 (Gold). Then I did IAM course (F1RST) in 2016. Then followed by ROSPA retest (GOLD) 2018 and another RoSPA retest (GOLD)2021. The right training is so important for potential riders or experienced riders. Really enjoyed your expert advice and films. Many many thanks . 🏍️💨

Hi John, thanks for making such an enjoyable series of videos, as being in my late fifties and got my licence last year, you have inspired me to go for further training and hope to improve my skills with ProScot early next year. Once again thanks John. Cheers Alex.

A lot of riders told me to use the rear brake first (not that I do that but it’s interesting how advice differs from place to place).

At 4:00, with a car on the left, I usually move in my lane to the furthest spot from the car (pretty much the middle of the road) because the movement makes the bike more easy to see, and it maximizes the distance just in case. Is that a good strategy or are there any drawbacks to this approach?

Thanks for a great series of videos. Great instruction & very useful to see Lewis's hands on this video; it helps to understand how fast to 'wring the cloth' during gear change & when/how the front brake is used on the road. ... Watched these videos a good few times over the last couple of months & managed to pass the CBT & theory test this week. ... now working on improving muscle memory to get ready for mod 1 & 2. Thanks again.

Absolutely brilliant John, loved the whole series and its just what I needed just now. I recently emailed Pro-Scot to book in for a bronze or silver training course so hopefully you'll respond to that and get me booked in for some 'further' training. Thanks again for all your time making these videos. Cheers, Michael Sherry.
