If you leave her in the cage, after some time she finds a way to escape and kill the 2 guards. You see her again in that encounter, but while my party was level 5, she was level 1 and got one-shotted by everything. She also counts as a NPC and cannot be revived if you never interact with her after the Nautiloid.

It occured to me that the reason you cant bring karlach back and have her be friendly is because that be a loophole in wills contract nullifying almost his entire questline. Larian is willing to add a lot of content, but even then i doubt they wanted to write a whole second story for a small percent of people who would have tried this

Lae'zel is far from a saint but damn this whole scenario is all on Shadowheart... Like it's understandable that she's upset sunce the woman who's been racist towards her the whole time is in pocession of an artifact of her people and is very defensive about it. Meanwhile Shadowheart would rather kill her than explain.

Shadowheart has no idea how close she comes to dying here, because it's only the metagame knowledge of what she'll do after this point that keeps her alive.

In my next play through I might try to solo. kill them all and see what happens

I'm not especially proud to admit that the moment Gortash told me Orin has infiltrated the camp, I tried stabbing Yenna. She just seemed so suspicious and the way her cat seems scared of her made it feel like she is something else than just a little girl.

Astarion actually looked kind of hurt when you called him the least trustworthy lol

"Yenna" saying that "Orin is coming for me" pretty much instantly gives Orin away. Because I really doubt that a little kid would know Orin by her name and live to tell about it.

Maybe a bit cruel but on my second playthrough I said "why not let's romance Karlach" as I loved her on first play but on that one I romanced Shadoheart. So on Act 1 when Karlach starts hitting hard on her coolness I romanced her. But then when Shadoheart starts developping her character I could not like her more than Karlach so I regreted romancing her. Thing is that Karlach starts amazing but then it gets boring. She is the cutest one by far from all character on her romance interactions, but her story is just about the heart engine. Let's assume that this is a way of introducing "cancer" on DnD fantasy game, is the same thing. So her whole story is "I love you and I have cancer, now there are 3 options: ignore the topic, insists that this must have a solution until you die and we cry, or move back to hells" . I find myself not breaking with her just for pity. She has no interesting dialogue options for the whole story besides hating Gortash and having fun. While on the other hand the rest of character comentaries have more lore implications on their thoughts than just "I don't like this/I do like that" All the other characters have things going on until the end of the story almost. Except Halsim who is so dissapointing.

Game is like "here's the impossible fight you wanted so badly" 😅. Gotta love it. Even with cheats if you won and kill every hostile NPC in Moonrise you still have to go back to deal with Nightsong. Atleast I guess there would be no enemies on the first floor during the assault on Moonrise 😅
