Yes, bisque firing happens before dipping into glaze, and we just wait for the glaze to dry after setting the piece on a table in open air. Thank you 😊

I realize this is a very old video for you, but how did you get a smooth even slab? I've tried making a larger pallet with a big slab and it always seems to warp like *crazy* as it dries

I used a slab roller, and dried it slowly under plastic. I also leave it on sheetrock for drying.

Thanks for the video. An image or more detail showing your strategy for propping with wads of clay would be so helpful! I assume you applied wax resist to those spots prior to glazing, but where?

これはアメリカでラク焼と言われてる低温ガス窯で焼く焼き物です。低温で焼いてるので水を入れたりできません。この窯から出す一瞬が美しく見とれてしまいます! 火の鳥をデザインしたのですが、本当に燃えてる鳥の様で自分でも見とれてしまいました(笑)

ノンノ様、本当に陶器がお好きなのですね! 以前は夫がウェブサイトを持っていてアメリカ国内で販売してましたが色々トラブルがありやめてしまいました。日本へは輸送費が高額だし壊れてしまうので今の所オンラインショップは考えていません😔 残高です。

@@ノンノノンノ-g6x 今あるのが右側の白いプランターだけです。左から2つのデザインのものは今から作れます。あっても困らないのでキャンセルされても全然大丈夫です。プランターを置くお皿付きで1つどれでも4000円です。送料は調べるので後ほどお伝えできます。でも本当に高額になるかもなので申し訳ないです😔 ノンノ様はインスタグラムされますか?インスタだとビデオチャットで作品をもっと詳しくお見せできると思ったもので。

Thanks for the video! Well done. It's nice to see different techniques to achieve making a mug without a wheel. I watched another video on slab building however without any structure to support the clay the process required more fineness. I like this method using the PVC pipe 👍

日本にいる時は陶芸とか焼き物は敷居の高い物だと思っていました。アメリカに来てから陶芸ではなく、クレイアート、セラミックアートとしてもっと自由に土を形成したいと思い色々アイデアを探り出しています。と言えば格好いいですが轆轤苦手なんです😅

There are 2 small unglazed spots that are wadded to keep it from sticking to the shelf.
