Do you have to heat the clay? And what is the gloss that you put onto the spoons?

Thanks for the video. An image or more detail showing your strategy for propping with wads of clay would be so helpful! I assume you applied wax resist to those spots prior to glazing, but where?
@shihosclaystudio Жыл бұрын
I can not put a photo comment. I leave 2 small spots on the underside unglazed for the small wads. Thank you ❤️

Beautiful and so much easier than some other methods I’ve tried. For the glaze do you only do one dip and then one coat for the details? Thanks 🙏🏽❤️
@shihosclaystudio3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching my video! Yes, I glaze one dip then add the details with one coat.

Hi! Iloved these spoons so much I decided to make them with my 8th grade art class :) we are having great fun with it. One thing I wonder about - what types/brand of glazes did you use? what are the names of the colours? any help appreciated!

@@heyashakaye I use wads on 2 unglazed spots. They are cone 10 stoneware fired so the clay is vitrified and food safe!
