You gotta let over half the alcohol evaporate. If you get rid of most the alcohol you can hardly even taste the everclear. And shake it for 5 minutes. I left mine in the freezer for 4 months cause I forgot about it absolutely fire fire tinctures. Put a cheesecloth over the jar your dumping from it gives it another layer of filtration. Then take your trees and give them a 2nd wash with everclear. And what do you mean took long? You can leave tincture in everclear for up to a year. The longer it sits the more potent it gets. Tincures are bomb af. I filter my shit woth a cheese cloth into coffee filter and underneath that a fine mesh filter. and this is the qwet method

Simplified ... If it's 18% you add 3 zeros. 18000% x 0.35 (grams) = 6300 mg. By the time you infuse it with coconut oil and then bake some cookies, you can allow for a little loss of THC that burns off. So call the final product 6000 mg.

Ive been making mine almost exactly like that for 4 years now. Only diff is I use 2.5g for 2 tablespoons of butter. I'm a mess I know.

You can just evaporate the tincture into an oil if you aren’t into rocket fuel booze. I think it’s best to do a bit of both and then you can smoke it eat it drink it etc. and everyone knows black lives matter but most of us value all colors these days lol

Add some honey or other sweeteners like agave and it will be more palatable. It's not going to completely solve the harshness, but it will ease the pain 🥵

Strain the solution through the strainer above the coffee filter...that keeps the bud where it doesn't sit in the alcohol and as tge temperatures of the alcohol acclimates towards room temperature it will become more polar and will start pulling chlorophyll in the extraction....here's what i do, is still the same wash except mine happens i a 1000ml wide mouth flask with Everclear and dry ice....tge Everclear is 9% water and will sublimate the water from the Ethanol once introduced. After the off gasses(Co2) are done sublimating, you will be left with 2 things...100% alcohol solvent, and a solvent that's temperatures is below zero°, making the Ethanol non-polar and will nit pull chlorophyll at all, the same way butane dows not. Both are hydrocarbon solvents, but molecular chain tail is different, as is with propane,heptane, butane, entane, and so on...but i do a lil more than a 1/4 when i extract....lol I then evaporate below a 120°F...with ventilation....at this temperature, terpene boiling points get volatile rising above 120°F... I collect the oil from the evaporation dish, place in a small 250ml pyrex dish, covered with aluminum foil and decarboxylated on a chemistry hot plate with a pill spinner...until full decarbed...which means to drop an oxygen molecule. When you decarb you'll have tiny bubbles which are the terpenes moving through the oil, then big bubbles which is the oxygen escaping, as it's performing the decarboxylation..once no more big bubbles, i now have a potent, high quality edible concentrate...that still has terpenes, you can dab, put in pens, just dont decarb it 100% maybe 65%...the coil, or nail will finish the decarboxylation...that's hiw a cherry on a joint,blunt, bowl works the heat makes the thca drop a molecule and contverts to thc...delta9 when fully decarbed to be absorbed by tge blood /brain barrier, the liver...and it goes straight to the CB1, and CB2 receptors in the brain....any way i take this fine extract and cut it 1gr to 1- 1/2 tablespoons MCT (refined coconut oil)oil 3ml of food grade flavoring...and put into 25ml, lil glass vial droppers...they can be takes orally by drops to the tongue, added to food, ( i do unflavored also) to a beverage....it keeps, where gummies and candies go bad...just a good vehicle of transportation of the medicine to the body...✌️

This was the second time I have made a simple syrup recipe for my wife. I used the same ingredients, but it does not seem to be very effective. I made 1.5 cups of simple syrup, which equates to 72 teaspoons. Using a distillate (804mg), it should produce 11g/teaspoon. Even after 2hrs didnt she didnt feel anything. Last time to Vegas she purchased "Sips" and those she felt. Now when I made this, there seemed to be film that stuck to the side of the pan. Wondering if this is where most of the THC ended up, and there seems to be something stuck to the inside of the glass bottle that I put it in. Any tips or thoughts of what might of gone wrong? Thanks in advance!!!!

May I suggest you make your "CANNABIS INFUSED BUTTER" Then licking fingers is healthier.

You should use only 1 paper filter. All of those filters soak up the tincture needlessly. Also, if you place the tincture in a temporary clear glass and set it in the sun for about 30 mins, it will get rid of most of the chlorophyll without harming the rest of the chemicals. That may help with the taste quite a bit.

Just made my first lemon pound cake with infused butter. I infused exactly the 10 tbsp of butter with exactly 4 grams of kief from bud that was nothing less than 28% thc…so the packaging says. Use parchment paper inside the pan to keep the cake from sticking

For sublingual, ur saliva glands are under ur tongue, so ur supposed to hold it under ur tongue for 30 seconds. That’s why people say it burns. Hey de not just taking 1/44th of a shot and saying it’s hot. My 1st attempt at cold extraction did not work for me. I tested .5g decarb and it was fire, so I did a half o to 375ml, shaking daily for a month. I couldn’t get it to drain through one filter wo the chaff, but I tried. It just ain’t kicking for me and it burns bad, so I’m evaporating one bottle of it halfway in a dark cabinet and ima see if that helps potency. Ima try again with a q and a lil jar like u do. Those glass Amber bottles are good, long as they come with a glass sucker. The others are plastic and they just don’t hold up well. I got the 6pk. Price low to high cause Prime got the same exact listing ten different prices.

there should be a remake on this as im sure by now she figured out she is losing a lot by not sqeazing out the herb and getting as much as you can out . as for the extraction i would say just let it sit for a while and shake it real good every once in a while. instead of heating it , if its for a tincture and not rso you will need to decarb the bud first , if no decarbing is done you get no thc ,that little heat for that short time you dont get hardly no thc ., i have seen people freeze the herb and do a fast wash to get less chlorophyl in the end product

Usually I point out a bunch of things done wrong but you did a pretty good job. Only thing I saw was clarifying your butter is a must. It help binding of the THC. An don't be afraid to melt the butter more before mixing. Good job
