Moscow is a transshipment base for migrants from Africa and Asia to the EU countries. Russian special services are recruiting and selecting from arriving migrants those who are ready to fight in Ukraine on the side of Russia. Those who agree are trained on the territory of the 45th Separate Guards Special Forces Brigade in the city of Kubinka, Odintsovo District, Moscow Region, the rest of the migrants are sent to Belarus to create a hybrid war on the border of Poland. Migrants are trained by former Wagner group to attack on the border.

Japan should put Cyprus or even the EU under embargo. The EU cannot be trusted if there are known criminals running the show. Or the EU should be disbanded completely or Cyprus kicked out. The EU is not a joke. Maybe EU countries will now realise that the EU paliament is just a bunch of ciminals (thanks fo Fidias, a known criminal) and start following UKs example. Actually the stupid plastic cap law was the last straw. No more EU, no more stupid bottle caps.

Just wait until you find out that the EU is European and they support a country that bombs civilians (Ukraine). Also it doesn't matter if he's a criminal. Hopefully he tries to stop "Ukrainian" aid and let the Turks have Northern Cyprus

It’s good to see the EP shine a light on this topic since media literacy is very important for all citizens, especially in a democracy. But I think there should be more EU-funded initiatives to teach media literacy to citizens, be it through school classes or social media campaigns - everyone deserves a right to knowing how to critically evaluate the information they receive!

Dear Jeremy, thank you for your suggestion. The European Union has funded several initiatives to promote media literacy among its citizens. These initiatives aim to help individuals critically evaluate media content, understand the mechanisms of media production, and develop skills to navigate the digital landscape effectively. Here are some notable EU-funded media literacy initiatives: 1. Media Literacy for All Programme The "Media Literacy for All" programme is an initiative under the Creative Europe programme. It supports projects that promote media literacy, particularly in terms of understanding, using, and creating media content. This includes activities such as workshops, educational materials, and campaigns aimed at various age groups. 2. EU Kids Online EU Kids Online is a research network funded by the European Commission to study children's use of digital technologies and the associated risks and opportunities. It aims to inform policy, education, and awareness-raising activities to promote safe and effective use of digital media by children. 3. Safer Internet Programme The Safer Internet Programme, which evolved into the "Better Internet for Kids" (BIK) initiative, focuses on promoting safer internet usage among children and young people. It includes awareness campaigns, educational resources, and a network of Safer Internet Centres (SICs) in each EU member state. 4. Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027) The Digital Education Action Plan outlines actions to support the use of technology in education and training. It includes measures to enhance digital skills and competences for the digital transformation, including media literacy. The plan supports the development of high-quality digital education content and promotes the responsible use of technology. 5. European Media Literacy Week This is an annual event organized by the European Commission to raise awareness about media literacy and showcase good practices across the EU. It involves various stakeholders, including educators, policy makers, and media organizations, and includes workshops, conferences, and online activities. 6. European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO) EDMO supports the fight against disinformation and promotes media literacy. It brings together fact-checkers, media literacy experts, and academic researchers to understand and tackle disinformation. The initiative also supports media literacy projects and research. 7. Film Education Projects Through the Creative Europe MEDIA programme, the EU supports film education projects that enhance the media literacy of young people. These projects aim to develop a better understanding of audiovisual works and the creative process behind them. 8. eTwinning eTwinning is part of the Erasmus+ programme and provides a platform for schools in Europe to collaborate on projects. It includes activities that promote media literacy by encouraging students to engage in digital storytelling, collaborative media projects, and critical evaluation of online content. 9. YOUTH Programme The EU’s YOUTH programme supports projects that enhance the digital and media literacy of young people. This includes training courses, workshops, and youth exchanges that focus on developing critical thinking and media production skills. 10. Media Road Media Road, funded by Horizon 2020, focuses on innovation in media and creative industries. Part of its agenda includes promoting media literacy by supporting projects that explore new ways of engaging audiences and enhancing their understanding of media content. These initiatives target various demographics and use different approaches to education and engagement. We can only promise to support and expand these initiatives, crucial for improving media literacy levels across the EU. With our best wishes, Parliament's Social Media Team

These results are a precursor of how the national vote will go across Europe and the western democracies in general. Citizens of these countries are fed up with the the authoritarian socialist progressives whose policies on climate change and international diplomacy have created economic chaos and led us to the brink of nuclear war.

The Parliament must solve this huge Private Data Security problem : Whoever controls the AI in Phones , tables, laptops and desktops will control the Education of Kids and News for all Consumers, will control all the AI Answers and Text Prompts. The news yesterday that Apple & ChatGPT will be integrated means 2 big woke supporters, Apple CEOCook and OpenAI CEO Altman will control all answers and text prompts, and this amounts to " forced woke indoctrination", the opposite of the intent of the Internet and Web, and against Communications Rights and Services . Every Consumer must have multiple choices of AI, as Applications, not integrated in the OS, and not be forced to accept or be unable to use the device. In my opinion this Deal between Apple and OpenAI is illegal, unethical, monopolistic and unconstitutional. And it will destroy the Christian Culture and Economies , among others .Private Data Security disappears, since ChatGPT will control all of it , illegal also .

Little clarification. The parliament does not have final say over the president of the commission. That president is chosen by the commission itself if they choose to like they did a few years ago with von der Leyen as they circumvented the parliament. Other than the parliament can only debate on laws proposed by the commission. Howevere the video is right about it being the only democratically elected institution of the EU, and it is pretty powerless on the grand scheme of things. This is not to say the parliament is obsolete, it is still very much necessary but it definitely doesn't have the importance our rulers want us to think.
