These people post a video but never answer any simple questions. Now I have my doubts on ordering anything from them. Glad I found out now before ordering a complete interior kit for my 1962.

C3's need any help you can give them with ride quality and comfort. A must if your seats are worn at least 50% or more. LOL

I just recovered my seats out of my '77 with Corvette America covers and new seat foam. It was a really straight forward process, and the new covers fit perfectly over the new foam. Reviewing this video prior to starting made the process a snap. Don't forget to do the last step with the heat gun and a wet cloth......it really helps get the wrinkles out! I also got the same color "Dye spray paint" and painted the rear cover....the match was perfect and now the seats look like new....I'm pretty happy. Thanks for the great video !

Why did I get 1/2” clips instead of 3/4” clips? The 1/2” clips bend and pop loose and shutting the project down.

My seat covers were glued to the seat foam? Tons of work. Takes 5-8 hours to do each seat.

Also anyone else struggling to slid the cover over as well

I must admit the video is well done but I have screwed up the clip sizes and not everything fits on top of that may I just say it’s kind of iratating to see how easily it’s done and struggle to finish

What if you wanted to shave down the side bolstering on the bottom, where your butt sits. It's causing me pain into my butt and upper thigh area.

I just purchased the seat covers seat cushions and hardware, got a price from a shop $350 to do the job for me, haven’t decided if I will do the job myself

I got my 70 leather seat covers from Eckler's, they came out great. Not too hard to cover, just take your time.

I'm going to get my heat gun , I have one just like you used .

I am hving trouble seeing the clip as to which way to rotate to pick up a wire . The tool drags so much trash up with it , This guy makes it look so easy .

You make it look sooo easy , with leather , it IS NOT easy !

This was so easy to do with this video. I had my doubts but it came out great. My suggestions are #1buy new/better push pins for the inner seat. Don't try to reuse. #2 if you don't have hognose pliers buy online with rings for$16 Had trouble finding. #3 plan for your plastic pieces on the seat control to be broken.

Good video and easy to follow on how to do it, But .. If possible try and save the factory 3/4 clips used on the back listing .. far superior than what is supplied in the kit (if purchased) .. I had all vinyl cover's and rolling them over the top of the back was "very interesting" as vinyl doesn't stretch like leather .. the use of a hair dryer to loosen up the material goes a long way too . .

DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! They do not show the direction of the seat clips, or the wires that attach to the corrugated wire, which is VERY important in getting the tool to fasten the clip to corrugated wire. I found out the hard way when the tool slipped off the clip and sliced into the area between my thumb and index finger. Luckily the blood on the foam won't be seen.

Looks simple, im dry fitting before cutting any of the new foams. Measure twice, Cut once....rule of thumb.

Trimmed the seat bottoms as suggested, but that took off too mych foam.. SHould dry fit before cutting. Thanks

I would advise that you do your homework on the seat covers you like-I recently purchased all leather for my c5 from leathers11, an Australian co. on ebay. 5 months and 900 miles later the driver side started showing issues. Leathers11 have not responded to numerous emails. Their price was good but for what?

Looks as though burlap with the wires were originally on the bottom seats, wonder why they were left out during installation of new foam ? I hope he went back and put it in. If not, I hope they got a hold of the customer and made it right!!!!
