Congrats. The weather was definitely on your side. You didn’t press on with the Fimm afterwards? We did them in July but the weather was atrocious. So bad that we couldn’t pitch our tent. Just bad luck for us.

At last, a video made by ordinary British people doing a Camino, talking as you go - unscripted. You will never know what a relief it is to find your videos. I cracked up when you said “shit, it’s going the wrong way”. Funniest thing I’ve heard on 100+ Camino vids. 🤣🤣🤣 Well played, guys - superb stuff. Don’t ever change. ❤

Thank you for the video. I plan to do the same route end of this September. This video helped me a lot to know what to expect. Do you have a blog documenting your route. I would love to read it, hoping that I would find more info that you couldn't/didn't put in the video. Can I ask you what time you started your hike in the morning, and around what time you reached your destination city for that day?
@acoupleofordinarytravellers6 ай бұрын
Hi, thank you for you message & Im glad you enjoyed the videos & found them helpful. We have a face book page & Instagram page that I documented daily each stage this may help with more detail for you. Because each day was different distances it hard to say what time we arrived in each place but on average we walk about 4km per hr so on our longest days 28/30km days it took us 8ish hrs. That’s including stops…. I stop a lot to take photos and video 😜 plus coffee, lunch stops. On these days we would leave early about 6/7am. We do enjoy walking early to avoid crowds and enjoy the tranquility whilst plus we like to arrive at our destination early in the afternoon so we can explore each place a little. I hope this helps please take a look at my daily diary on our FB & Instagram pages. You can also find us on: Instagram➡️ bit.ly/3Z8jepj Facebook ➡️ bit.ly/3SlUmb Oh Ps….. we are currently walking th Camino Frances as I type this message out now on day 8🙌🏻 You will have an amazing time on the Portuguese. Buen Camino 🥾 😊

I've been using this tent for over 2 years now (older version). It has been a solid shelter for me. Ive been in extreme rain & wind without issue. Even pushed it into early winter. Heavy snow is a no go but can handle a light snowfall. As for leaks, like with all tents I've owned I do preemptive seam sealing at the start of every season. This has been a great and go to tent for me. Best wishes that your experiences are as good. Cheers.....Bob V

I just came from the packing list video, did you check your bag with the tent attached on the outside?
@acoupleofordinarytravellers8 ай бұрын
Do you mean airport checkin? If so we stayed in Reykjavik the night before and for a few days after our hike. We took a big (100L) duffle bag with our backpacks & contents inside, packing up the pack the night before we left. Leaving the duffle bag with the hotel for when we returned. Hope that helps, if not let me know 😊

Did you find the Crocs good to cross the river in, were they secure enough as I see some people put on neoprene scuba shoes which definitely don’t come off. I like Crocs though as they can also be used in the campsite toilets/showers

All the money they make in India yet the people live in shit. The workers never revolt there though. That's why the globalists want to replace Western populations with asiatics, that's why they are flooding our white nations with fast breeding Asian hordes. We are being replaced by a workforce that passively slaves for wages that just about keeps them alive.
