I’m a fan of the performance baffles. After my stage 2 upgrade with the 472 Redshift,oil pump,exhaust and Dyno tuned…..it will run down my friends with the 117 CVO bikes.

What’s done to the bike for you to flat foot it at only 5’4”? I’m 5’6” and I tiptoe on my road glide

OMFG The pussies today is unbelievable. It's not a drivers back rest it's called a "Bitch Rest" if you are under 60 Remember that AND the people who want to have the solo image then put a drivers back rest on it looks stupid

I spoke to KW recently about the baffle options while configuring the potential header+muffler options for my Street Glide, and even they recommended to just keep it stock.

I picked up one of these Amazon backrests. It gets the job done for sure.

Did your slip-ons not come with baffles installed? Where did you purchase them? I recently ordered the 4.5 HP Plus from J&P Cycles and the listing says that they come with “Absorptive baffle covered with stainless steel mat and high temp fiberglass” but I Haven’t gotten them in the mail yet. (Couple more days of waiting) Did you pull whatever came in them out or am I just getting baffles that didn’t originally ship with earlier versions of the exhaust? The sound in your video is what I’m after…I also know mine will be a little different then yours as I have a 103HO in my street glide vs your 117. Thanks for the video!

I have a 2021 RKS 114 motor and just put on my new khromeweks duel exhaust without the baffles and I can honestly say I was disappointed in the sound and found no performance increase. I wish mine sounded like this bike, it just didn't. I then put in the performance baffles and it sounded like a completely different bike. I haven't had a chance to ride the bike since the switch up.i just know it sounds so much better now.

When you put the " rippers in , did you take anything out first , or just slide them in. Ive got some , but it looks like the ones in the mufflers cant come out. If they did , the new " Rippers " wouldnt have a mounting hole.

I’ve seen guys take the padding out of the seat( done by an upholsterer) and replace with gel padding. Also purchase an aftermarket lower kit.

I ran the pipes without baffles. It was great sounding but I noticed power loss in 3rd during acceleration. I put the baffles in and it performed a lot better. I’m torn what to do. I like the sound of one but the performance of the other.

You might try getting your camera further away so you can't read anything at all.

Before I was a rider, I thought this looked easy. Now that I have a bike, I can't believe how easy he makes this look. Very smooth.

Good idea.. but, what happens if you have to remove the tag... often? I have a toyhauler and need to remove the tags and put them in the non-readable envelope bag so as I'm not charged for 2 bikes PLUS the truck tag!

Thanks for making this video. It's been about a year since you made this video. Do you still feel the same way? No baffles? I bought a 24 CVO RG in January and late this afternoon, I received my Khromewerks 4.5" slip-ons with the louvered baffles. I'm going to install them tomorrow. Just wondered if you felt the loss in power or if you didn't notice any difference? I'm going to start with the baffles in.

I agree that the bike sounds better without the baffles, but it's my understanding that without baffles, these bikes lose power at the low rpm range. I'm beginning to think homemade "lollypops", DK Custom TTI's, or BCT baffles might be the way to produce that deep exhaust sound without sacrificing bottom end power. Anybody else have a suggestion?
