My 13 XTS has a left front wheel bearing stuck in place. Tried every trick in the book to get it out. I found there is a tool ( hub buster ) you bolt on the wheel studs and pound it in a downward motion and it will force the bearing hub assembly out. Have You ever used one or familiar with them ?

No sorry. Not familiar with that tool but sometimes you have to get creative to get the job done.

Just curious, do I need to remove everything. Is it possible to pop the old switch off and extend the wire to the new switch. Using a new connector to connect the two wires together... or splice the wire together.

I have the mobile app with battery voltage included. Any opinions on it's accuracy? I've had my 22 kw 2 years now with 8 hours of run time only in exercise mode. I can handle everything but valve adjustment. Thanks for the detailed video. The dealers want stupid money to do this stuff.

Dude. I love the video, but you should wear a cheap latex glove. Fuel, oil, volatile chemicals have benzenes and cancer causing chemicals that absorb easily into your skin. It’s not scaremongering it’s just smart.

I was thinking of installing a c7-c8 steering wheel on a c4 I want your opinion. Personally I like the feel better with the newer models but I love the way the c4 looks. Is it even possible?

Great idea but I don’t think they would be compatible since they have air bags in the steering wheel and the early C4 does not.

I think the 180 is the best. Basically the thermostat tries to maintain about 180F but the fans are not set up for 180, so in normal conditions while in motion the coolant will stay 180 but while idling in traffic the ecm lets the engine heat up to 230F which is not great. I’ve set my fans at 180 and secondary fan at 185; and I have 185 constantly regardless of driving conditions. However, I’ve replaced the stock radiator with a double row aluminum. After installing the radiator I had a 160F which kept the engine at 160 while moving, but that was too cold, below nominal temperature, so 160 doesn’t make sense for me
@JerryJacksonDIY
@JerryJacksonDIY 2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I have been experiencing my cat running around 180 even with the 160 thermostat. Of course we only run in the summer time and usually a lot of stop and go traffic. I still have the stock radiator also. Each application may be a little different based on usage and mods. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching.
@rotorblade9508
@rotorblade9508 2 ай бұрын
@@JerryJacksonDIYIf you have a 160 but temperature stays 185 or above all the time it means it stays fully open always (except before warming up) so the cooling system is not working properly. I had the same problem before replacing the radiator. the radiator was full of small pebbles and sand which reduced performance. I think you need a new good radiator the cooling to operate properly . On my previous engine the head gasket failed probably because of overheating

These cars have significant low end torque gotta ease off the line then stab the throttle... little tip my transmission mechanic taught me was to shift my auto manually, shift a few grand above peak hp which will depend on the mods you've added. This will help your 1/4 mile times and also save your transmission. Your transmission doesn't know what mods youve made. Increasing the fuel pressure helps push your power peak up the rpm range a bit. I think early C4's were at 32 or 36psi and '88's+ were 42psi Also, adjust the tps to .67 volts as opposed to the factory .54...you will feel the throttle response improvement. Also, drop your rear tire pressure to 20-25psi this will help street tires hook up a bit better. Hearing that loud ass heavily modded Camaro next to you made me remember how much it sucks running next to those guys... you can't hear what your car is doing 😢

@JerryJacksonDIY
@JerryJacksonDIY 2 ай бұрын
Not exactly sure why it would stop working again. You could try jumping the pins at the connector and if the latch responds and opens then it could have been just a faulty switch. Thanks for watching.
