I came here because it is Dec 2nd! Lujack died on this day. It was shocking. I was a kid, home from elementary school, always caught most of GL. My mom screamed, “It’s only a Monday and it wasn’t even the end of the show. It’s right in the middle. He’s dead. They really killed him off.He’s not soap dead. He’s dead.” LOL. She was right. Shockingly, they never brought him back. He was dead dead.

Beth and Lujack were the real endgame. Having Phillip and Beth get engaged during the last year of guiding light was totally forced.

It's weird to think that a recast mourned Beth and then real Phillip got to see nu Beth come back. Which in hind sight... I only ever knew BC as Beth when the show was on the air. I wasn't even alive when this aired. But going back and seeing Phillip and Beth as teenagers and young adults is a real treat. Judi Evans was great.

Wow, this is baaaaaaaaad!!! I'm a child of the 80s so I well remember how over the top that decade was, but oof. This is beyond.

I did not like how Phillip was immediatly sniffing around Beth when Lujack's body wasnt even cold.

I looked at the title and was like, “who is “Her”? Good clickbait title....I forgot about this. I was 9 when this aired and even as a 9 year old I wanted everyone to FIND BETH!

They brought his character in only to create this great drama and then kill him off

It strange because I loved Lujack but never cared for Nick. I often forgot that he was played by the same actor. The chemistry VI had with Beverlee McKinsey made them so believable as mother and son. Fun fact Marj Dusay played Nicks mother on GL and later played his characters Dr David Haywoods mother Vanessa on All My Children
