Hopefully Chris Evans makes a sequel to this underrated movie…

This movie kind reminds me of Lost In Translation with Bill Murray And Scarlett Johansen. I loved both films and remind me a few times in my life that I can relate to the characters in the stories.

Evry year in the month of December i choose to watch this movie i don't why but i have some connection with me or maybe the vibe that this movie carried still never fade away and at last this particular scene oMG really takes your breath away there is pain agony comfort and also desolation but that what it's all about things does happen like this it hurts but life goes on.

I recently had a love story that reminded me of this movie: I met a girl while traveling, and her boyfriend had just broken up with her on the phone from her hometown. We got along so well, and spend 2 whole days together without any involvement, because she expected to go back to her boyfriend and felt it would be like cheating. On her last day before going back to her hometown, we were almost like a couple, hugging and holding hands, and talking as if we knew each other for years. Our goodbye were so emotional, her eyes showing she had fallen in love with me, while she kept saying she couldn’t do this. The classic “right person, wrong time”!

This film mainly is somewhat a renaissance of the movie before sunrise. Especially the car ride to before sunrises' famous music booth scene. If you guys liked this movie. Do checkout before sunris and it's sequels.

I recall Chris himself mentioned the influence of before sunrise somewhere. I prefer the conversation in this movie over before sunrise, which always seems to me a bit boring. On the other hand, before sunset is on another level in my opinion

Man the background music are outstanding. The song choices in this film are good as well. Watched this ages ago and it scarred me for life.

So true, the music selection is absolutely outstanding. My favs are the "into the sea" at the start, "so here we are" when Brooke encouraged Nick to go back, and "move on" in this video

She will come back to Nick. Story shows how people like Brooke are afraid and fight to find who they love and who they not. Psychic and Nick helped her a lot to understand the true love. She will finish her marriage. She says that we meant to be together to Nick, she says that in reality she doesn't love her husband but their good moments in the past and even though she says that she will fight for her marriage, she knows that cheating and his behavior will never change. It's not easy to change totally your life, especially for a woman like Brooke, who is afraid of making huge steps in her life. I think that Nick did the best thing for her to let her go back, so as to take her time and understand in reality the difference when she is with her husband and when she is with Nick.

People are criticizing the ending of this movie BECAUSE they don't understand it. First off, she was always going to go back. It's where her home is. You don't know what happened when she got back because the movie ended before that point. This movie leaves it on a cliffhanger FOR A REASON. YOU get to IMAGINE the ending (which isn't always a bad thing). His number was on the back of that piece of paper she was looking at on the bus. It is very likely that she went back home, fought with her husband, got a divorce, and her and Nick got together and lived happily ever after. You don't know that she went back to the cheating piece of shit husband and stayed with him. But she was always going to go home! She had to. It's her home! She can't just stay in New York when all her shit is in Boston!

am i the only who feel that New York City gave another feeling of happiness and sadness and some mystery for the movie , i don't know if anyone can understand what am about to explain but , who visited the city can understand what am saying , damn i talked too much

You dont talk so much, Maybe that's the reason that the movie was especial, the lacations, new yorl, the feeling.

I watched the movie again tonight on MBC 2. It's funny, every time I'm going through tough times or working on a project or my mind is busy this movie comes up and for some reason when I watch it I feel better or makes me think better and despite the negative reviews it got from the critics I like it. I know it's not a great movie but it has something in it that holds me to the end. What about you guys? I like to hear your thoughts

This is an incredible movie. So underrated. It shows the complications of life in a beautiful way. Thses two decided to help each other even though they were strangers. That's a beautiful thing. And in the end they both knew how lucky they were to get to know each other. They will remember this night forever and I hope they will find each other again. But for now it's perfect like this.
