The new POTA films are where it’s at for modern Hollywood franchises-absolutely fantastic series of films.

People don't talk about this trilogy enough. I never see it in any list of top 10 movie trilogies but it damn well should be! Caesar has been such a compelling character to follow

Rise, Dawn, War and Kingdom are my alltime favourite cinematic experience. They are Masterpieces. I can’t understand why they are criminally underrated and unappreciated. I prefer the reboot over the 1968 - 70’s films because i don’t like actors playing apes. I prefer my apes to look like genuine apes and that’s what Rise, Dawn, War and Kingdom does and with each movie the look of the apes gets better and better. The reboot planet of the apes gave me my favourite movie character ever and that’s Caesar, Caesar is the only character that made me cry in a cinema before (War and Kingdom) i still love him. Noa’s (Kingdom) not quite on par with Caesar yet but he’ll get there there are a lot of similarities between the two like the same birthmark etc. The reboot also gave me personally the greatest villian in a movie and that’s Koba. Andy Serkis, Toby Krebbel, Owen Teague etc etc all the actors deserve more praise than they actually got the should have won every award going. Maybe Kingdom will win for weta at the oscar’s as it’s been nominated for fx but it’s up against dune. Rise, Dawn , War and Kingdom are my number one movies and i can’t wait till 2027 to see part two to Noa’s trilogy and where the franchise goes from there there is Ceasars trilogy then Noa will have his then there will be the last 3 movies. i’m so excited. Rise, Dawn, War and Kingdom are the only movies i went to the cinema to see without seeing a trailer first i just afore primates they are my favourite wild animal especially Chimps and gorillas and have adopted a few of them too. Please don’t called them monkeys. Monkeys have tales and apes don’t they are a different breed of primate altogether also apes share 98.7% of our d.n.a. Thanks for the video. Take care 😘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Apes Together Strong ❤ Caesar Never Forgotten ❤ Team Noa ❤

I think revamping a franchise in a way that respects the original iconography while still bringing something new to the table is such a fine line, but it's done so well in these movies. Really a study in reboots

The thing that these film makers, and many so-called enlightened minds of the time failed to realize is that the U.S. didn't win the war, the U.S. ended the war.

The 2001 Tim Burton version was the first Apes film after so many years of the franchise laying dorment & didnt do "good box office" (although I don't think it was as bad as they'd said) Then came the - RISE OF APES I admire the guts it must have taken to throw the dice once again, as producers must have felt there was no interest from the public any more, & of course it worked spawning 3 sequels, there was one last story to be told, after the 1966 film classic, & that was the lead up to those events, also answering many unanswered questions, I also liked the Animal rights aspect which gave the film believability and humanity.

as someone who has ONLY seen the most recent saga of Planet of the Apes movies, i've been eargly awaitng these videos, i adore these movies & absoloutely plan to revisit them as well as get around to watching the original movies (including the 2001 PotA). also, funny little casting note. the actor who plays franklin, Tyler Labine, also stars in a 1997 Canadian teen-drama/comedy series called Breaker High, which also stars a 17 year-old Ryan Gosling. it's not a very good series, to say the least, but i don't see it talked about anywhere & like mentioning it whenever i can

Forgotten? Maybe by the lowest common denominator people born in the last 25 years who've grown up on a steady feed of crappy 're-boots' and 're-imaginings'😩😫🥱😤😠. Also, the Orang-utans are the politicians and theologians (aka: liars deceivers and manipulators). It's the Chimps that are the trustworthy, knowledge seeking scientists and academics who are kept well and truly 'silenced and controlled' by the Orang-utans.

The original is the best and the sequels look like made for tv movies. But i grew up on them in the 1970s and love them all. Don't really have a favorite of the sequels they all have their good points and bad ones especially battle for which is undoubtedly the weakest.
