I keep getting armour piercer from the babies I make from the mum and dad pets? The mum and dad are only adults and have mighty and paingiver/storm dealer. Where am I going wrong?

@@magnificsaturn3446 i use to provide them in the bazaar but I’m not that active on w101 anymore. You can always ask people in the commons to bring you to the arcanum or if they can get you monstrous tc

I completely forgot that the main quest in the crown store also lets you teleport to that world, and i had know idea about control + shift to spin i always made redneck machinations attached to the arrow keys

Omg I hate navigating the maps. As a newb it is so stressful just go from point A to B. Wish they would just let us auto path to the destination by clicking on the map. It’s tiring feeling a chump and everyone getting mad

Great vid! Question though. In order to line up the dotst to get the parents, should i be training up each new hatch to adult and then breed that with the quetzal? Or should i just breed as many times as it takes with my original pet then train it up?

If I would make one change, give players with membership this option: Once every 3-6 months, you MAY choose to rename/change player gender with say 100-500 crowns. It's a bonus for members, and it cant be a constant problem due to a long cooldown. I dunno, I think the "Only one time change" was a bit extreme.

awesome video. I love how clean your audio is but it was hard to listen to because the bass was so high, perhaps you could try turning up high ends? adds a little crispiness to it so the audio can cut through the air a bit better.

Great video! Just wanted to know if its good to use two parents that have the exact same 2 talents (i.e., both have pain bringer/pain giver) to hatch? Or is it better to try get the variety from the 4 main talents you listed :)

at the end of the day it is RNG. Hatching with different talents that you want will increase the odds. What you could do is if your baby does not fail at Ancient then it becomes an Ancient parent. You then level one original parent (mother or father) to ancient and see if it succeeds to get the variation you're hoping for. If say, "father" fails, then you still have adult mother as a backup to hatch the: New ancient parent with original mother together and produce a new baby then yolo that new baby to mega. Does that make sense?

I can’t stress enough how much better this game feels if you just take a break. Dont force yourself to play. Just go focus on school, work, or another game. Come back in a year or two, in that time your nostalgia will be refilled, you’ll have skipped a few annoying grinds, and the game will feel fresh again. It’s a 16 year old game, let it be a fun nostalgic experience instead of no-lifing it like its still 2010.

i remember the first thing i did when they added the furry bdsm outfit was message my friend taylor about it. i ironically met him due to a visual glitch with the raven horde pack robe. back in the day if you did one of the member exclusive dances and jumped while wearing a raven horde pack robe, your wizard would have a very large uh... bulge.... and he was the one to discover it when i asked why he was so excited to be in the commons lol

The fundamentals is feed your pet snack and don't train it above adult. Pet training requires energy. Everytime your character levels up your energy refills. This was covered in the video. Hatch everytime your pet is adult with a pet that has 5 damage talents. You have a 12-24hr cool down. How do you find a pet with 5 damage talents? You find the quetzal in the kiosk. Let me know what "fundamentals" you don't understand.

Wizard 101 should have died years ago. It's an iconic game that's been foundational to the role-playing genre, but it was above all else designed to maximize profits, not player enjoyment. Whaling and soul-crushing levels of grinding are the epitome of this type of game. Don't blame the community for trying to enjoy a simple pleasure in life. Blame the greedy board of executives and owners of the company for milking their player base like cows and refusing to let developers design a game that can be enjoyed by everyone.
