You went all the way - Congratulations Mr Carpetbagger. Glad you didnt have to traverse the Huey P Long Bridge in New Orleans (if it's still a thing) and amazing the state capitol in Baton Rouge is taller than those skyscrapers in New Orleans. Thanks Jacob, one for the youtube history books.

Absolutely amazing how there is no homeless encampment on the French quarters or anywhere downtown New Orleans where Mardi Gras is held, you would think there’ll be more homeless, but not at all

This was a great series! I was happy to see you continued beyond New Orleans to wrap things up. It's probably going to be a while before you top this adventure! Okay, off to see Jenny Penny's Cades Cove bear encounter. Safe travels, and God bless you both!

Definitely my favorite of the steam boat cruises, It was so cool getting to see the workings of the steam boat. I can't believe it's been 2 weeks since you started the River Road trip. Great series. I can't wait to see what's next.

So sad this is done, but State fair season is upon us. Have you ever done Route 40 it runs across the country? You could do the Susquehanna river at 444 miles long, starts in New York and end at the Chesapeake Bay. A lot of great things to see along the way. Thank you for another great adventure.
