Feinverkbau Air-rifles is among the best if not the best, when I was 16 I competed in Stockholm from one suburb where my team of 4 all shot sitting with a Feinverkbau 300 each a serie of 6 targets x5 spots at 10 meter shaky common bench we all scored 300 points each of 300 max and won a Feinverwkbau 300 to the club. After I entered the standing individual junior competition after recommendation of my teamleader and won that with a score higher than the Swedish girlteam competing separately at the same time. I was a little envy of them and thinking it was unfair because their prices was a big silvershiny cup, my price was a big grey tin beercan.

The bullet is about 2 inches long and the barrel only has a 1-10 twist. When loaded slower I did not gain any accuracy or reduce noise. The CCI Std Vel 22lr in my Savage moves at 1060 fps, it is rather accurate. 1050 fps also works well in my 300 and 338 Whispers. I do not have a proper noise meter to see how reducing the powder charge will affect noise.

Apollo 11 landed on the moon 52 years ago. The USA returned (landed men) to the moon five more times since between 1970 to 1972. Then the money ran out as in Congress decided to do other stuff since we already won the race to the moon. We (various countries) have returned to the moon; between 1972 to 2020 over 30 unmanned missions by the USA, Russia, China and Israel have entered lunar space or landed on the lunar surface. Why should we send humans back to the moon anyway? What use would it serve? Back in the 1960's it was just a political stunt. No one is willing to do it anymore unless there is a good reason to do so.

@@ranb40 what’s the point in going to Mars or anywhere else? I guess you believe we lost all the designs to get back the moon too? Remember they claimed two things: we can’t pass through the Van Allen belt and they lost the designs so we no longer have the technology to get back to the moon.

@@NickkaDUB The point of going anywhere is up to you. No, the designs were not lost; what are you talking about? Who claimed we can't pass through the Van Allen Belts? It is entirely feasible to pass through the belts. Time, distance and shielding is the key to reducing radiation exposure. Even if some plans were lost for some of the 1960's vintage tech, what we have now is more advanced. We never lost the technology to go to the moon. It is just that no one was willing to pay for another trip until recently. Trump set the goal to land again in 2024, Biden has not canceled although it may take longer than three years to get back as we are not racing anyone now.

@@nicholasplesko533 I know what it means, but I don't think you do. It depends on how far you zero it as the bullet it travelling upwards until it hits your zero distance. Theoretically, there is no such thing as point-blank range as gravity is always acting on two objects, in this case the bullet and the Earth. The speed in the fall is the same, whether you drop a bullet out of your hand or shoot it out at high speeds- it will always fall at about 9.8 meters/second ^2 with a little off to account for air resistance.

@@bigredone1030 Specifically, there is a point in which the bullet will have reached its highest point after leaving the barrel and the bullet will drop. For a 5.56 out of an m16 its about 260 yards. I want to know how far a 510 bullet will go before its trajectory stops looking like a line, and starts looking like a rainbow. How far does this thing shoot straight before gravity turns it into a softball pitch? When does it go from laser beam, to piss? That's all I'm asking.
@bigredone1030
@bigredone1030 4 жыл бұрын
Nicholas Plesko It depends on the zero. Everything drops at the same velocity regardless of mass. The reason the m16 drops that far is because that person zeroed for 100m. The angle of inclination is the key factor in a zero. That’s why extreme long range guys have a 20 MOA rail; because the slight angle is needed for the round to hit where it is zeroed. In summary: no round looks like a “line” when graphed. Gravity applies to every physical object on Earth, all the time.
