Feinverkbau Air-rifles is among the best if not the best, when I was 16 I competed in Stockholm from one suburb where my team of 4 all shot sitting with a Feinverkbau 300 each a serie of 6 targets x5 spots at 10 meter shaky common bench we all scored 300 points each of 300 max and won a Feinverwkbau 300 to the club. After I entered the standing individual junior competition after recommendation of my teamleader and won that with a score higher than the Swedish girlteam competing separately at the same time. I was a little envy of them and thinking it was unfair because their prices was a big silvershiny cup, my price was a big grey tin beercan.

I used to have a FWB 800x, but I couldn't shoot it any better than my 600, so I sold it to a girl who could shoot better offhand than I could prone.

I am 77 and just bought a 601..it had to be rebuilt too.

I just got one of these 3 days ago for one of my Cadet shooters. Looks like an excellent rifle

It will give any teenager a good workout in the prone position the first dozen times they use it. One of my 15 year old female shooters was worn out after each target, but now she is used to it and does well.

The 600 is superior to the 300 in most ways. It has a more consistent stdev than the 300. My 600 has a 1-2 fps stdev and my 300 had a 4 fps stdev. The 600 is more difficult to shoot with a sling in the prone position than the 300.

Prone with a sling and jacket/glove. I have rarely ever shot 100/100 in prone. Best kneeling is 98. Best offhand is only 94.

@@ranb40 it is a wonderful model as any of that "Vintage ERA". My sincere congratulations anyway...you are a good shooter too. I do "Air Rifle Bench Rest" and I apprecciate every target/match rifle, they are awesome....despite I use in the tournaments only PCP....I 'm in love with these PCA - single stroke pneumatic beauties a brotherly hug from Italy Fabio
