is it only 2 years of school to become a OT or is there more?? And do you know how long it takes to become a pediatric OT

For a masters, OT school is 2 1/2 years. For a doctorate it takes about 3 years. We actually don’t choose specialties while in OT school, because they want us to be good at knowing the general information for all the populations. Once you graduate, you can do whichever OT setting you want.💓💞

I am looking at Cal Poly for Early Childhood Development too and I was wondering how you are working with adults if you are an OT?

Yay it’s a great program! I’m primarily wanting to work with children in OT, but have the ability to work with people through the lifespan. Cal poly prepared me to work with children having the child dev degree! I learned my adult skills in my OT masters

Sororities and fraternities seem like an exclusive club where you need money, looks, and health to get in. Once you're in, it's just a way to access parties, alcohol, and sex during college and high social status throughout life.

I became a sorority member in 1973. I also worked as an alum recruitment advisor for the local university in my area. I find her information to be accurate. Just to clarify a few terms. Rush and recruitment are the same thing. Pledges and PNM‘s are also the same thing. PNM stands for potential new member. it is interesting that not much has changed in 50 years!

I want to join a sorority when I get out of the military just bc I’ve always wanted that experience of I guess a normal civilian life with people my age. I joined when I was 17 so all I’ve known for 3 years is army. Would a sorority even choose me? I’m very social but I’m not a girly girl and my experience in life so far is a-little different from most people my age.
