do u put down a base of white acrylic paint first ?? or do u just pour paint around it ??

I did not put a base on this one. If you do, I would put a think one or you will have a lot of paint on your canvas. Thanks so much for watching!

Can you tell me if you resin the full front of the cutting board? I have seen them with the full front of the board covered by resin and think they look more professionally done. I can’t seem to find anyone who can give me an answer.

I did not resin the entire board on this particular one. I have done that though. If you are using a food safe resin - it will be find - you just can't cut on it! You can use it to serve food on! Thanks for watching!

Looks very cool but u had the same problem I have when u pour the acrylics on the canvas it was going to one side straight away it means your table it's not leveled but like u did u can stretch it out and its all good haha just need to find that stir wood pieces 😊

Hi Kathy! I'm looking to create my own kits and then ship them off to clients and teach a class. Do you know if it would be possible to premix and then ship? I only ever mix as needed and don't leave it for longer than a couple of hours. Thanks!

Yes you can absolutely do that. If you are using acrylics with, say like Floetrol, you do your mix - pour them into you individual bottles. I did that for my nieces birthday party (she wanted her friends to do a pour). It worked out great! Thanks for stopping by!

The cake spinner I got from Amazon (you cold also get one from Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Then I added the paint stir sticks to make is hold a larger canvas - and to have something to grab!

A little bit of wet paint on the spinner and edges of the canvas - it will stay. You could also use painters tape on the edges. Thanks for stopping by!

You can use a white base - but it really depends on the technique you are doing. For a pour like this - there was plenty of paint without the base! Thank you for watching.
