Scared of being ok cos all things change. My interpretation is that being ok is scary because that could change at any time. Sometimes it feels easier to be consistently ill than to have a good day and then have to deal with relapsing again. I’m aware I’m watching this ages after your review but I hope you’re in a better place now

@@ZerooReacts I love watching them but there’s no way I could get in front of a camera, that’s my idea of hell! Just wondered if you was ok, this world isn’t always easy to live in. Do what’s best for you, don’t pressure yourself and protect your peace. I’m a MH nurse and peace is my most important asset. Take care x

The more negativity you turn inwards, the more power you give to that voice. It’s so important to think kindly of yourself and of others. We are all just trying to get through another day. It's a phenomenal feeling, one of the best, if not the best, you can have, but I can give you one piece of advice: don't do it, because in the end it's just suicide by installments. Believe me, I know what I'm talking about. I've been there before.

great reaction. Mephistopheles does show up in Faust. But the word and concept is much older than that. It's a Greek word for 'Satan'.. it's literal meaning is 'Lord of the Flies' (yes, Goldman's 'Lord of the Flies' novel relies up this foreshadowing. Oh, and in dramatic section in the middle of Ren's song here, at the end before he goes to the quiet part, the dissonant chords he's playing is a chromatic ascending of flatted 5th chords... also known as the 'Devil's Triad'. All of the construction of the song is purposeful on Ren's part. He has levels upon levels.

You have no idea how happy that message made me feel. I have been really down, computer issues, depression. I am super self conscious and stuff. No need to carry on with the explanation but just know that you and so many others have helped me get through and hopefully I can record some new reacts and content this/next month. I have lived through some of the greatest music, from the late 60s( when I started really listing to music) through the 2000s, dont much like the songs from 2000 on with a few exceptions( Chris Stapleton, Harry Mack, Billy Strings Angelina Jordan, Morrisette Amon, Dimash to name a few) but this hits on another level, a powerful message in a fkn awesome package, ren is awesome

Transformative. I tell people to watch it. They ask what KIND of music it is....well, jaw-dropping, staring WTF life-changing kind. NO comparison to anything else. I'm 63 and a BIG Ren fan. In truth, he had my attention with that first guitar piece!
