I could listen to the both of you talk about politics all day. You guys are nuanced and light heart'd, something that simply does not exist in the modern era.

Fairly conservative person here but I would never ever support annexation or joining the United States. We should concentrate our efforts on making Canada better than it is now and I'd much rather go through some personal sacrifice to do that to get the books balanced and get some more common sense policies enacted.

I prefer the British system of having a by-election 6 weeks after the resignation. There's no reason to leave a seat without an MP or provincial representative for months on end. Legault is less safe than Ford because there's currently a volatile pool of voters that swing between the CAQ and the PQ (QS and the PLQ have very inelastic but relatively efficient voter pools right now) whereas the Ontario PCs have a relatively stable pool of voters and a divided opposition.

Singh not only voted against his own words and promises, he also stated in a news story that he "does not like white people especially older white men".. that will NOT take him very far for sure. Then when campaigning for money for the party he lied, big story on his brother and he almost starving as kids but for a kind neighbor blah blah, but his Father is psychiatrist who sent him to a private school in the US plus college for his doctorate in biology and then his legal degree. The brother is now a medical doctor. Hardly the middle class poor he spoke of.

Few things on you Smith bit. She got 91 % in an event that was heavily vetted. Former PC members were blocked from attending. Also it was 400 bucks to attend and a lot of peoples tickets were paid for by smith donors. So I wouldn’t put to much value in the numbers from that convention vote.

I’m so glad I’m albertan. We have an intelligent premier who understands thats it’s not usa job to stop illegal coming from canada..its Canadas job. Number one don’t let illegals in and don’t allow the drugs. What kind of chaos are these liberals going to cause us! We thought we had it bad before…it’s going to be a nightmare x 2 now. Oh it’s ok for trudeau now…he will destroy canada to dirt, resign or get the boot…leave canada with his extra 50,000,000 dollars and sit on a beach drinking tequila while we go to soup kitchens.
