I don't recall the former BC Liberal party ever using only red, rather they leaned into the BC flag colours (blue, yellow and red). Search for their logo and signage... heavy use of blue. They've always distanced themselves away from the federal Liberals, so it's not surprising they wanted the rebrand (and I'm guessing the federal Liberals also appreciated not being dragged down by the "BC liberals"). BC liberal/United MLAs who've moved to federal politics, are running blue, not red.

The conservatives will win this election for sure an yes people want change now an yes this is all across Canada even in Quebec it's really good there. So yes if you see northern bc it's all conservatives an yes even in the interior it's all conservatives so yes lower mainland is showing the NDP are loosing heavy as well an yes l see on Vancouver island it's got conservatives an yes once Pierre does com6 down when the election your going to see alot more will vote for conservative for sure

While not an NDP supporter I wouldn’t count them out by any means. With 40% that puts them in a good position in many ridings especially in the Lower Mainland. And that is where the seats are. I’m somewhat pessimistic about the Conservatives chances in forming a government. I don’t think their vote is going to show up on election day. Too many complainers who will not step up and head to the ballot box. I’m fascinated to see that they are polling so well amongst young people and surprised to see the ND P polling so well amongst older people. Seems to be the opposite of the past.
