In May 2024 I visited the Goodnight Barn in Pueblo, Colorado. It's worth the side-trip if you're passing Pueblo on I-25.

I know the tree she was hung from. I also know the Suns who helped hang her. Do you have any information on Albert Conant and LeClairs who were first ranchers to trail 400 cattle from Idaho to Lander, WY in the 1870s.

Thank you, enjoyed the video. I’m actually related to Charles. The famous Charles Goodnight was born to his farther Charles goodnight and Charolette Collier. And his father had a sister Nancy Robinson Goodnight who married John Morton Murdock. That’s where I’m related. I have visited Nancy’s grave many times, since we live a couple of hours away

I'm a Goodnight, not 100% exactly sure what the relation is but my papa Goodnight always told me that we are directly related. Some day I'm going to get my DNA tested so I can find out for sure on the details. I live in Oklahoma and visited their graves and house once, very neat, I love history and being related just sparks my interest more, naturally.

A great history, but with one major transportation mistatement. The vehicle most like a quarterhorse is NOT an SUV, it is what we Americans call a "pony car," or a "muscle car." Like quarterhorses, the value of a pony car, such as a "Mustang," is that they can run a fast quarter mile. Please think about this. American muscle cars (ponycars like Mustang, Camaro, Barracuda, Challenger, etc) are just like quarterhorses because they are affordable, reliable, faster than they need to be, and beautiful. SUV's are nothing more than your grandma's station wagon, except uglier. SUVs are nerd cars, the modern equivalent of swaybacked nag or a glue factory special, okay?

An SUV would be a cob, a light draft or heavy coach type. They have their place.
