You know you can extend and add an outro/ending right? Why would you delete a track?

Because when the song cut off at the end before the words are completed. When you extend it it will extend it with the words cut off. I understand what you're saying but this is not that. Thanks for watching.

Great job on this video! UDIO's new Upload Feature is crazy good. I did a step by step tutorial video on my channel showing how you can take an 8 year old demo of an actual song written by Nashville songwriters and create a newer modern day version of the same song using Udio's upload feature. Technology is just getting better and better quicker than expected which is scary.

Thanks for the info. I will not feed my self-written and self-recorded songs to Udio. Nobody in my area wants to listen to soulless computer music anyway. The point of this machine is that the music industry no longer wants to pay artists.

Upload your own copyright-free stuff? That's Udio's dream. This way, the startup can train their AI free of legal infringments. Then, they distribute the uploader sounds to other users. More: Udio now OWNS YOUR MATERIAL. Cool. And, of course, later on the company SELLS ALL ITS CATALOG TO TIKTOK, META and the rest of the crew, so that they pay no royalties AT YOUR EXPENSES. That'sctheir plan. How cool is that?

and what happens once you publish your song (combined with your own uploaded composition?), can other users still extend your song? hence; who is the legal owner of that extended track then?

@@sjonjanssen4021 Almost 1 year ago US' Supreme Court decided that "AI-Generated work is not copyrightable for failure to meet human authorship". So, at least if Disney's lobby don't manage to change it, you don't own the copyrights for your AI processed/generated song. You can play it, of course, but not make money out of it.

I must be doing something wrong here. I have a line that says "He's a copper in disguise" and I'm trying to change it to "Being a cop is his disguise"... I'm deleting the old line, putting the *** *** each side of the new line and it's changing it to gibberish. It's changing the correct part, it's just completely gibberish. Any ideas what I'm getting wrong?

Try highlighting what you want to change with a few extra words before and after the line you're changing the hit tab on your pc. Then highlight that area on the track. Please keep in mind inpainting is iffy you'll just have to keep at it. It took me several tries. Good luck, and thanks for watching.

Copyright infringement or plagiarism is exactly that. If Chat is giving you something unique who's to say? But you need to make sure of that. Udio may even use a version of GPT. Thanks for watching...

@@SimpleTechAI the vocals get messed up, when I do a remix, I am looking for a different music performance and a new vocal performance , but the vocals are always messed up, meaning the vocals in the remixed first part are messed up, but then when I click extend in the extended new part the vocals are ok, but then the problem I have is how to fix the vocals in the first part , so I have tried to fix the vocals in the first part using the inpaintting but still cannot get the first part of the vocals sorted out, so I have some good songs , with the vocals messed up in the beginning of the song, I'm making 80 dance disco earth wind and fire type music , thanks for your kind reply , you have anew subscriber here hit the bell and liked .

Hi! Great video! I want to ask about inpainting feature. If we we remove the lyric and let the music tags there, is it the song still the same just the vocal removed, or it will change the entire song? Thanks!

Inpainting is more for changing lyrics or fixing small hickups in already generated section. But right now it's hit or miss, you have just try it and see. I've have good success but it may take a few tries. And yes sometimes it does alter the song some. You just have to experiment with it. Thanks for watching

What do you think of the 2 minute generation feature? I think it's awesome addition. Instead of wasting credits building up 32 sec clips, now we can practically fit in a full song in one go.
