I used Udio to make a 30-track album of robot gangsta rap. As I made more and more generations, the AI actually began to recognize my characters (Robogangsta, MC Mechatronic, DJ DigitalDoom, and Cybercat), and also started remembering things about their backstory, and finally it started remembering their individual voices! Also, this may seem weird, but the AI seemed to include things I was THINKING ABOUT at certain times, without me prompting it with that info. Anywho, next up is my 10+ track album of symphonic metal / pirate metal / electronica.

I've found that if you want the next part of your song to have something different, add it into the prompt. Don't do the whole prompt at once if it's a long one like telling a story or something, add to the prompt throughout the generations and it'll sound better and lyrics will be better / more consistent.

You can still hear a little mis-beat in the song there, but this is still in beta mode, hopefully they'll improve the extend and in-painting features. Also, just in case you weren't aware, you can go in and edit the lyrics on screen by clicking Edit and then remove the old line, that way if you publish it people can see the correct lyrics, and it won't affect the song itself.

The other thing with the hearts is that they influence the machine. Heart something, and the machine will takes notes about what it did between generations. That's how you get better reads out of the machine. How udio learns your lyrics. You have to use the haptics to get it right

2:13 Thanks for this trick, I never used it, but it can be usefull! Now I'm testing it and it seems to be a versatile filter for names! For example if you write a "-" at the star of a word, it will EXCLUDE all songs with that name. And you can also add more words. For example: if you write "daydream -edit" it will show only your original song block, not the derivative extensions of "daydream"!

Text in what was cut off drag the crop all the way to the end do not use manual and do not use any prompts just the text of whatever was cut off then click on extend

3:38 I suspect the action of putting the "clip start parameter" at the same % of position you are going to crop out, has no logic sense with the attempt to make it finish a phrase. I think it will work anyway just with the trick to repeat the entire text of the last phase in the box. (and I was using succesfully long before they added the new advanced settings) As they told, the "clip start" parameter is to teach Udio to create a part of song, taking example from a similiar position at the songs it has in its knowledge. They said this example: if you set it to 0%, it will generate a song beggining (like asking for "Intro"). So the real trick here, is you dont need to start always from a central part of a song, at first generation...

What do you think of the 2 minute generation feature? I think it's awesome addition. Instead of wasting credits building up 32 sec clips, now we can practically fit in a full song in one go.

You know you can extend and add an outro/ending right? Why would you delete a track?

Because when the song cut off at the end before the words are completed. When you extend it it will extend it with the words cut off. I understand what you're saying but this is not that. Thanks for watching.

Hi! Great video! I want to ask about inpainting feature. If we we remove the lyric and let the music tags there, is it the song still the same just the vocal removed, or it will change the entire song? Thanks!

Inpainting is more for changing lyrics or fixing small hickups in already generated section. But right now it's hit or miss, you have just try it and see. I've have good success but it may take a few tries. And yes sometimes it does alter the song some. You just have to experiment with it. Thanks for watching

@@SimpleTechAI the vocals get messed up, when I do a remix, I am looking for a different music performance and a new vocal performance , but the vocals are always messed up, meaning the vocals in the remixed first part are messed up, but then when I click extend in the extended new part the vocals are ok, but then the problem I have is how to fix the vocals in the first part , so I have tried to fix the vocals in the first part using the inpaintting but still cannot get the first part of the vocals sorted out, so I have some good songs , with the vocals messed up in the beginning of the song, I'm making 80 dance disco earth wind and fire type music , thanks for your kind reply , you have anew subscriber here hit the bell and liked .
