For those of us who are visually impaired, with so much Mandarin being spoken it is hard to understand and appreciate the video. That is a shame.

This is not Chinese food. This restaurant is for people who don't know what to do with their $518. I suggest donating this money to the homeless rather than spending it at this place.

Introduce your guest! Share your experiences together of the food life history with whom ever you are having dinner with?expand our knowledge of people we might have just met and are eating with. We all do not eat alone!!Its like having people to dinner at your home without introducing who they are? Thats just rude!! As an audience it places the scene as 2 people having a great lunch and presents the video as a humane, social and respectful vlog we all can understand.

Regular South Indian food which is just plated wonderfully. If this restaurant is a Michelin star, then there are several restaurants in India which are eligible for a Michelin star.

You're one of those asshole influencers that talks incessantly while others around you are having their experience ruined by your presence. Worse, none of your banal commentary indicates any real appreciation for the food you're being served. If you had been sitting next to me during that dinner, you'd have had a very, very different experience.

I don't remember the price. I usually do not focus on the pricing but rather the experience and culture exploration aspects. That being said, I believe this meal was around $200 USD with wine pairing.

I remembered watching a few of your videos when you first started 4/5 years ago going to some Michelin stars restaurants . A few days ago, your channel popped up on my screen again and I remember you. You really have a great sense of curiosity in food , a big appetite and never gain an ounze after eating all those food . Your videos are very interesting to watch and well made. I am very interested to know how you came up with the name " Fufski " and does it mean anything ? Are you a full-time content creator ? You are very lucky to be able to travel and eat wherever you want. 🎉🎉🎉
@Fufski3 ай бұрын
Aha, the algorithm has finally brought you back! 😂 Yeah, I rarely make Michelin videos anymore because it was never my intention to do a fine dining channel and I ended up having to delete over 40% of my content to correct the algorithm 😢 but it is still the Michelin that popped up 😂 Fufski is from my Chinese nickname Fufu (Fu means a man) but it's a bit difficult for English speakers to pronounce Fufu so I came up with the name Fufski to give it a bit of twist and charm and I think it suits my character quite well. I'm not a full-time content creator (as you can see almost 5 years passed and still these little videos and subs) but now I plan to put more time into this channel and hopefully, it can grow 😂🥲.
@sarahlain24773 ай бұрын
Thank you for explaining your channel name. I don't need to scratch my head any more. I am also not looking for Michelin restaurants. I will watch it if it's there, I am primarily looking for good food videos whether they are Moms and Pops or "make sense" price restaurants. Your channel will grow because you really love to eat and look very natural. 😊

The pickles are called Shan Pickles and i think Chinese immigrants brought to Burma during War in Early 20 Century. History Class : We fought Thailand so many times in the early times and We had influenced by Thailand and Thailand influenced by Burma. And also France and Portugal fought Burmese Royal and lost. Later they had been transferred to Cannon Unit. Some of Myanmar regions have Portuguese genetic look. Australia has a great relationship with Shan. With Chinese, we fought not too much time but when china was in War, Chinese flea to Burma. They sell food on the street and save money. During Late 18's Burmese Royal had detained by British Army and send to India and also Indian King had brought by the army to Burma. Indian soldiers served in the Burma British Army. They brought the way how to use spices 😂. The Burmese master the dishs to the next lvl.

Interesting, it's good to learn those history! And yes, I think there is some Portuguese presence in Thanlyin and there is a church remain (I know, how would I know this 😂). I even saw an Armenian church in Yangon. The mix is amazing!

Do you think you'll ever return to New York to live again? I know this sounds very American, but the portions look so small. I wonder if you are full by the end. The food looks so delicious and so creative!
@Fufski4 ай бұрын
Good question 😂 actually I’m seriously thinking about if I should move out of NYC and move to Thailand instead because the cost of living and tipping culture is insane, among many other factors. The portion did look kinda small but you can refill the durian course (which I forgot to) and I was left at least not hungry. It should be adequate for a meal.

@@Fufski Whatever you decide to do, best of luck! I remember way back when you first returned to China, you walked the streets and said it seemed like a movie set or something because everything was so clean, no one would rob things etc compared to New York. 🙂 Still super impressed how you can so easily switch to English. Best wishes!

Aha, yes. Actually I have been wondering what it's called in English for a long time, and now I have my answer! This device used to be at the very forefront of molecular gastronomy (whatever people think of the name) and was first used by El Bulli, El Cellar de Can Roca, and the like. But now it's much more common and can be seen in many fancy restaurants and bars due to its usage to extract water-soluble substances.
